yeah car in sig, im trying to figure out if im making the horsepower i was told the turbo can support. i was told it only needed 20psi to make my goal. after some track time i have fallen short of said goal. gonna throw it on a dyno again now that the converter is with in check, and see what power its really putting down. i want to keep an eye on the back pressure too.
it made six and a half to the wheels on 14psi threw a loose converter. im looking for 900-1000 under full boost if the back pressure dosent go too high

Thats where a back pressure tester goes. I have used them several times at the dealerships.

Depends where you want to measure it, but it is a fairly normal approach. Just use some metal tubing for a few feet to dissipate any heat before you put the rubber gauge hose on

Are you trying to find pre turbo, or post turbo ?

I want to compare the amount of boost the engine, to the pressure in the merge pipe.
