Default once again i sucked.

http://dvmix.com/data/David14Mar04.avi

thanks to debian dog for the footage, i have my own ill add soon, not that there is anything sweet about not being able to shift.

still 11psi 93 octane, this with fat's and skinnies, timesheets are meaningless
first short time (bog) was 2.17, second felt good at 1.8, but apparently the clutch didnt appreciate the slip(and the trans didnt appreciate the dump on the first pass) resulting in IT WONT SHIFT at wide open

spec s4i under my bed and fresh t56 from jim mattison in route

looked like it has some power though

sorry guys ill get it figured out.

If your clutch is messed up you wont be able to shift at WOT, unless its grinding or stuck in gear I dont know if I would throw a trans at it right now. Looks like it was moving pretty good, what was the 1/8 mile ET on the good 60' pass?

first pass was 2.17 60' 8.12 at 82, 13.8 at 79.39
second pass was 1.86 60' 8.32 at 72.36, 14.8 at 69

its not grinding, i figure its the clutch, but the trans put out a lot of fluid back in the pits so i'm going to swap both out as shooting fluid out the vent is something it should not do.

Weird it would blow fluid out of the vent, something has to be getting prety hot to do that. Your vent didnt get moved at all did it? If its cut down or the plastic tube fell off the trans it will spew pretty good.

I'm sure you will get it straightened out..

yea, i put this one in when the engine went in late 2002, has taken a good beating since then, i knew it was comming.

new one should be in the car by end of this weekend, going to keep the car apart until the roll bar, rear, brakes, go in along with the trans and clutch.. because i'm planning on a good showing at the spring shootout.

vent tube is factory dimensions and placement.

good luck, it def takes time to get the bugs out. believe me, i started last year in the high 12's!!!!!!!!!! no fun, but with some time and patience it should work out.
I pulled my tranny yesterday in my garage. do to the fact that im an idiot and cant messuer a driveshaft!
If this new tranny dont hold up call east side, the tranny they did for me was in alll last year and it was fine! till i blew the rear and needed a new drive shaft messuered it wrong and tore up the tail shaft because i drove it anyway! im an idiot!
I'll be backup soon.
Keep on pushin, it will go. Im scared to see what i go with the new set up along with some new suspention stuff! my luck it will be a hard right, right into the wal!
