an 80mm to 83mm works just find for a friends street car making somewhere around 800-1000. an 88 seems like a little over kill but anything between 80 to 88 would fit your goal

Turbo it, Lyle.. it's..... easier on parts. That way you don't scare them off with that big F1. I've got some brand new C6 manifolds with your name on them Methinks an 88 with a spool valve would make a wicked street car... Relocate battery, Turbo k-member.. wouldn't be difficult, I wish I placed my turbo up there, the low mount is having drainage problems.. puffs smoke at WOT.

His turbo is a Mid-frame 88, not a GT55. His car made 1142rwhp with it and smaller cubes. GT47 has a 92mm turbine wheel, the GT50 has a 99mm turbine wheel. Also the GT55 is built in a 80mm all the way to 106mm.

Stick with the smaller cubes. Also we build a big turbine wheel version of the GT88 now as well. Will help take care of the back pressure problem.
