Default E85 Guys...what are you gapping plugs at?

I asked in the build thread I have but really need this info quickly. I am starting to assemble the build today and wanted to get the plugs in first while I have lots of room. I was informed to use NGK 9's but never asked what gap to set them at. I believe E85 needs a smaller gap but not a 100% sure. You can see the build in my signature, no intercooler, and street driven a lot. Any quick help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

9s are pretty cold. I run BR7EF @.022 with E85 and 20psi.

Thanks. With E85 you do run them tighter correct? Do you know what the reasoning behind it is? I think before I was running .028 but that was in my BBC. Not sure if it matters what engine it is or if Boost plays a role.

Thank you for the quick response.

Did you end up running an intercooler or no intercooler.

I ran them at the same gap on gasoline as well. I used to get some blowout with gas @ .028". I went down to .022" and never had a problem with gas or E85. Some people run them tighter on E85, I'm not sure of the reasoning. It could just be because of the greater volume of alcohol that needs to be burned when compared to gasoline.

It depends on your target boost. I was getting blowout at 20psi and .23. I'm now running TR10s gapped at .13 and all is well. Shooting for 29psi.

I run my BR7EF .25 on e-85 with a blowthrough carb and a FMIC. Went 9.27@149.8.

Thanks for all the info. I don't plan on running a lot of boost. They came in the box at .025 so I just left them there. Only a couple had to be slightly adjusted. I just wanted to have an idea. I was running them at .028 on my BBC and had no issues but wasn't sure if it matters running an LS1 and boosted if it would be any different.
