Damn Justin. I'm having my share of issues lately as well. Received 3 wrong turbos in a row and now that we have the car going again it seems to have started a knock in the motor somewhere that I've yet to locate...and it only has 2K on the motor I was able to hit 21.2 psi the other day though

Dont do it man.!!! I thought the car was running great on 10psi?
once you try 15+psi you'll never look back...
I agree with you though I hate not driving the car anytime I want knowing there is some issues need to be fixed..

Bud just at least work out the bugs first, once you get things worked out up the boost and i bet you will change your mind, you have a badass set up, you just got done with the build its going to take awhile to get the bugs worked out, u will be sorry if you sell it without working things out and turning up the boost

Turbo LS1 have 99 problems and sitting ain't one. Ok that what lame but I'm no JayZ. I think I spent all last year trying to get my car running half right, spent a lot of time and money chassing issues. Once you get the big bugs worked out you will enjoy it. I will say a turbo car isn't for everyone, especially if you don't do your own tuning.

Got the car back running. I got *** raped on the transmission by Bumberas. Got charged $1,350 to repair my th400 and I pulled it out of the car and put it back in. They told me the price was the price. The damn thing leaks like crazy now out of my jw bell housing. Have a decent puddle under my car in the parking garage. They also said circle d charged $500 to tighten my converter which sounds high. Car runs great other than that though.
wow.....PTC charged me $75 to go from 3200-3600 and tighten it up. That place rules and the products are supreme. They will go up in time as their name become more synonymous.

I will say though if you own a turbo car, you have to be able to do your own tuning.
If you don't you will spend a lot of money, time, driving and having to wait each and every time something isn't quite right.
Swapping a jet and taking a degree of timing out here and there is a lot more simple compared to that.
I wish I still had a turbo car a lot of times, mainly at the drag strip when I hear a BOV pop coming out of the water box and when it's on the two and three step popping and banging up a storm
Now when it comes to maintenance and overall keeping up with one, I don't miss it for the world.
