Anyone have a picture of any of these turbos? Ive got a PT8847, one of the T4 turbos that I swapped to a 1.10a/r T6 with 5" exhaust outlet on my Mast headed 410" LSX, Im sure this is still a little too small for myself as well, but I'd be willing to upsize to a different turbo if itd fit in the same location

Were you able to notice a difference between the t4 and t6 housings on that turbo? If so, what?

Anyone with good knowledge of turbos care to comment on this? I'm in the same boat c.i. wise and turbo.

Thanks!

Around 1000rwhp is the max i want to make...i have a magnafuel 4301 that i'm going to upgrade to a 4303 (supposedly 1000rwhp max on e85 with this pump). Car will be street driven and will go to the track often (50/50) Will be a weekend car. I want it to be reponsive on the street (fun and not sluggish) but i also want to be able to go low 9's...maybe high 8's if i'm lucky. I'm thinking the 1.08 ar should be perfect for my goals, right? Don't want the turbo to fall on it's face at 5000rpm, but don't need it to go to 7000rpm either! I'm thinking 6500 rpm max. I pretty much want the best of both worlds out of the turbo...not so much focused on the street, yet not so much on the track either (a happy medium).

My motor is a 364 iron block, stock crank, oliver rods, 18cc wiseco coated pistons, coated bearings and wrist pins, main and head studs. Compression will be around 9:0 with my 64cc tfs 235's and a .051 gasket. I'm pretty firm on wanting a gt4788...just want to know what you guys thought of the 1.08 ar with my goals. How would the gt5088 work on my combo if i started to consider that? And with what ar.? Should i mill my heads a little more and try to get my comp to around 9:5 or more running e85?

Thanks guys,
Dee

I have the magnafuel 4303 & like it a lot, its quiet for a pump that can deliver that much.

BTW, I am interested in knowing what AR on 360ish cubes as well, my friend just gave me a GT47 compressor housing & a 1.08 exhaust housing, hoping the 1.08 will work good being that its free and all, lol.

GT5088 would be much better. We have been having HUGE success with the GT50 over the GT47 due to just the shear drop in back pressure. Picking up 80-100rwhp on that alone. Much less the new 88mm wheel that comes in the GT50 outflows the GT47 version.

No problem. The GT50's start at $1949 in mid-frame flavor and decked out still come in at only $2099. They flow ~147lbs/min, with 88/120mm comp wheel, 99mm/90mm UHP turbine wheel.

We have about 20 GT50's on the shelf in parts for right now, as we are waiting on another batch to arrive middle of next week. But what your order will be assembled to the specs you choose.
