Those of you with stalls

I just finished putting in my stall and tranny and i am wondering exactly what kind of a difference that I am supposed to notice.

I think that the tranny is slipping but since I have never driven a stall I am not sure what to be looking for.

It is a vig 3200

The "tranny slipping" feeling is probably the looseness you are feeling from the converter, floor it and then let me know what you think.......

Like Bos said, floor it and if it burns rubber, it's probably OK. A stall converter does kinda feel like the tranny is slipping.

is it supposed to stay around 3000 rpms on the highway in drive or is that bad

Yes. When you are on the gas, your RPMs on the highway should stay around the stall speed (3200). When you back off the gas, the RPMs will drop.

On the highway drive moderately from a dig and you should feel what feels like 5 gears, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, OD, and then lockup.

I do not think that mine has a lock up but I could be wrong. but anyway here is my next ?

Why is it that when I am at full throtle that it will not shift from 1st to 2nd. And if I am in drive and and doing about 60 and give it full throttle, and it shifts into second does it just rev up and peg the rev limiter. so another words second gear does not pull at all.

But if I am nice to the car and go through all the gears in second it seems to drive fine this damn thing is confusing the hell out of me.
