9) Jason Styles '00 Black Viper 1,200rwhp/1,200rwtq **Pegged at 3300 RPM**
10) David Stirra '94 Red Supra 643.0rwhp
11) Larry Prebis '93 Black & Yellow Supra 1,007.7rwhp
12) Dana Westover '94 Whit Supra 836.3rwhp
13) Ryan Woon '98 Silver Supra 891.3rwhp

Pulled this off the Texas forum. Can't wait to see the race results posted.

Those are some seriously impressive dyno numbers. I would love to drive Barnett's Vette. I bet its a blast.

I have an 814ci Sonny's mountain motor, it made 1630+ hp on an engine dyno, naturally aspirated on gasoline with two carbs. No fuel injection, boost, nitrous, etc...

That list is incorrect or outdated. I'm on another board with Mike Carlin and his Supra is a higher than that, he has the world record for most HP on a stock block: 980 rwhp (Mustang dyno) circa 1156 hp @ flywheel

Can one of the users and moderators of this site tell me how a thread and site dedicated to LS1 rwhp became poluted with ricer, Dodge and BBC rwhp posts? What do Supra and Viper numbers have to do with the thread's question?

I'm pretty sure the users of this site want to stay focused LS1, LT1 and C5R technology. I, for one, visit this site because I want to try to make 1000 rwhp with an LS1. My BBC can already do that.

I think we'll see what they have to do when the results come in from the Supra racing event this weekend in Texas. When the Vette Hooks, it just won't matter what the Supra, Viper or any other numbers look like.

If you had bothered to read at all, you would know these were the dyno numbers from the Supra/Vette shootout.

Yep I just got them off the texas board yesterday. Who knows? Could be old but doubt it.
Stealth, there is one LS1 TT Vette listed on there. Thats why I posted it, you wanted a list I posted one. He did excellent against all the other cars there and represented the LS1 crowd and what potential the LSX can do with a couple pounds of boost.

I was suggesting an LT1/LS1 horsepower list, and I must admit that I'm still bothered by the inclusion of the C5R motors, because the C5R is really not an LS1. This point has been the subject of many posts and many debates at this site in the past. A C5R is no more an LS1 than is a SBC.

Thats should make us more proud that cr133r did this with a Iron block in that vette.

cr133r: Its a 408 Iron Block motor with MTI heads (actually an MTI shortblock as well, but we had to go through it when we recieved it). Intake is a custom sheetmetal job. Turbo kit is completely custom.
In fact from what I see, lately all the high HP guys have been LS1/6 or 6.0 blocks. PSJ, Rob Raymer, MightyMouse, Y2Khawk, You and Noyzee. He is going to be up there as I am sure Bigbos and a few others that are finalizing their builds right now. I hardly see anyone with a C5R/FI combo post up here on the board. The norm is LS1/6 or Iron 6.0.

The one or two C5R blocks that might pop up should be looked at as a hardcore race set up or eye candy to mortals like myself, great but unobtainable.

Personally, if there is a Dyno List created, then I feel C5R blocks should be included but noted that they are indeed C5R's. Maybe having two lists - a race car list and a street car list would be the answer. Not sure exactly how you would divide them but hey, I'm sure someone can figure it out! I should be getting my project done in a few weeks and I hope to be putting out some pretty good numbers but I want to keep mine as a street driven car since I'll still have to drive it a few days a week in heavy Los Angeles traffic.

Well, I guess you're right and agree that the 6.0 block has become very popular. I firmly agree that it's not fair or appropriate to include the C5R or at least separate it in some way.

In terms of the hp list, which is sure to become very popular, all we need is for an active user (not me) to take the assignment and run with, much the way others have done with other lists.

some people said LS1 still not mature yet, and look at this :
Stacy Barnett '98 Red Vette 1,013.0rwhp **At 4000RPM**

that is a pretty high number compare to my 353 RWHP Z28 , i wonder what the RWHP gona be when LS1 get to its full potential?

Its actually maxed out the dynojet here in town and we were hoping to do the same in TX, but unfortunately it was an older dynojet unit that shuts down at 160MPH.... It would shut the run down due to excessive speed and not print results. The operator shut the dyno down early on the 3rd run (at I believe 4800RPM, I haven't seen the paperowork yet, but I will post it when the boys return) and it yielded the 1013, which was about 60 more than what it was making here at the same RPM...

So, as soon as the guys get back and I get the copy of the dyno done local and the dyno in TX, it will be an official 1200RWHP achieved by a C5/6.0L block....

As for running at the track, the car 'only' ran 11.1s@140MPH due to a few problems... Mostly because Stacey was tied up running the Supra because weather wasn't cooperating and they were literally hot lapping the cars. Barry drove it at the track and was unfamiliar with the car (had barely driven it around town let alone WOT)... Also, we still had problems with the drive by wire setup (something I still need to look into, but unfortunately was unable to attend the event)...

Anyways, I'll post the timeslips as well, but I believe he was only doing 97 in the 1/8 taking it easy on the car. Also, it was driven at low boost which with the restrictive intake puts down about 775RWHP (I hadn't realised that they put it back on). Without the restriction, the car makes about 880 at minimum boost (8PSI).
