It is actually cheaper than a D1SC. Figure making the hotside is comparable to having to purchase the pulley's and bracket for a procharger and it probably comes in very competitive in pricing to a homebuilt procharger kit.

Great work! will be intresting to see how the setup hold up over time. In the intrest of moving the tuning world on please drive this car as hard as you can EVERY single day of the week! put another 100K on the turbo setup. Please destroy the stock engine so you HAVE to fit a forged unit and turn the boost up higher!

Oh and post some pics!

Chris.

Wow this is great to hear. I have the same cam and I was hoping that I could possibly get away with using it for now on a turbo set up. How is your tune and drive ability?

Yeah...Allout06 ran a d1sc @ 5.5 lbs with a v3 and made 571 rwhp. not the worst cam, but still not the most beneficial. will be neat to see the gains from just the cam swap alone. and im curious to see how long that stock bottom end will hold at that power level.

Must be nice to have the money to commute daily on 110 . Maybe it's a short commute...

Having seen the setup Rob, I think it looks great, let alone the numbers on that stingy dyno of yours!! Great job on the setup man. Congrads on it bud!

Oil-less turbo? Never knew about this! I have a 408 with butt mount t-76. I need one of these. What do you think I should go with?

I probably should've mentioned that this kit isn't by any means finished. And it's still in the fabrication and R&D stages. Along with everyone else, we want to know the reliability of these oil-less turbo's. So believe me, we're going to put it through the paces over the next few months!

So please, don't expect it to be Josh @ KyTurbo quality yet. Although we certainly strive for that level of craftsmanship. (and yes Josh, I am hitting on you....)

I'm guessing you're out of injector unless you're spraying a massive amount of methanol. I'm running similar boost and timing and 60lb injectors and I'm out of injector now. I'm either going to go with 80lbers or add methnaol as a secondary source of fueling.
