Awesome man, i cant wait to see how it does.

im beginning to develop a theory about why my combo outperforms - im going to have to ABC is at the track but im pretty sure i know why. will have more details after some more track testing

Nice!!!
Are you going to try more boost next time out, or just keep working with
what you have? I WAS SHOCKED at your 60ft times. I think you are easily in the 5's with 10 psi.
I just hope you don't embarrass me too bad at the track. lol, I will be going July 5

well this will be hard to believe, but I speak the truth. I didnt quite make it to 5s on the stock cam, but I came Damn close

6.014 at 114+, in 92 degree heat and 3300 DA, ONLY 11 lbs of boost(177kpa to be exact)

I had to turn down the leave rpm to 3500 because the old setting of 4200 was just too violent on 5psi

had some transbrake issues so I could not duplicate, but I think we can deduce from the data that on 15 psi it will run in the 5.80s maybe 5.70s

depends on if it hooks lmao. my notch is mini-tubbed with 315/60's on it so HOPEFULLY she will hook. im worried bout the track prep though(lack of i should say) being a street night with all the imports n rotaries.

btw peak tq was 3340rpm iirc lol

damn,, peak torque at your leave rpm?. hehe, you may have some hooking troubles at 10 psi. I would start at 2 psi and go up from there lol.

NICE CAR though. just saw your build thread

awesome. 4200rpms and 2 psi netted me as fast as 1.347 60' so it doesnt take much.

I said it before I'll say it again!!! 5.70's will be had!!! I don't see any of the people in here that were saying it couldn't be done now that you are getting close without even leaning on it. Still at 4.1 afr? What are your IAT's now and how much is the converter dropping on the shift?

A lot of people on this site don't understand the importance of a well thought out suspension and how much easier it is to run the number when your 60's are in the high 1.2x to low 1.3x range. Most seem to just throw more power at it then wonder why it still won't e.t. like it should. Then don't understand that even though they "bought the BMR catalog" why they can't find traction lol. Lot more to do with it than that.

I used to be one of them, but not anymore

Thank you man. i thought a lot depended on what the engine made in NA form.ie if i could get it to 375 to 400 na i thought it would definitely go fives at 15psi or less

afr was 4.4 after 5000rpms, in search of a little more rpms. i thought for sure i would blow through the converter but it did ok. it dropped 600 rpms on the shift. it is slipping like crazy but my budget can live with that for right now - 28% slip, cheap converter. IAT was 207 at the stripe but im sure it is a lot cooler than that downstream of the injectors, due to the methanol.

i agree with you about getting the 60 ft down. last time out, my ets went from 7.4 to 6.5, mph never got below or above 103mph. the only difference was how hard i was leaving, off idle to off the transbrake and everywhere inbetween. ie the power can be there but the 60ft time has a huge effect on e.t

i think a lot of cars dont et that well because they are dual purpose, ie street/strip so its a compromise in the suspension department.

im really hoping for 5.70s at 15lbs

Great job 71. A lot of people will be studying at your feet to duplicate your performance. Sounds like a Lq4 with springs is a monster on its own...and now I have one...lol.

Quick Reply: will it run 5s with the stock cam??proven -yes it will
