My car at around 13psi went 108mph in 1/8th, alot like yours
3300 race weight
stock LQ4 with stock cam and springs
S400
th350
no ic, mix of e85 and gasoline, about e50 I think
Here are the things better about yours that will get you past 108mph:
I had three broken pistons (totally wrecked 2nd and 3rd ring lands)
You have 2psi more
You weigh a little less
You have better springs
Im mostly an idiot
I bet you can go at least 115mph, would that be in the 5.90s? Should be close right?

stock truck cam or stock ls6 cam...and if truck cam, whats the diff. between the two
my car went 6.73 @103 weighing 3930...so 700-900lbs lighter i can see high 5's
also mine was 11 psi so another 4 psi on yours help as well...ill say yes at high 5's if you can launch

anyone who can tune a blowthrough carb on a methanol/gas mix is hella smart in my book.
my 4.8 that you helped me tune without charging me(thanks for helping me out when i was so green - you probably dont remember who i am lol) went 6.04, 115.xx in the eighth and that was on only 14.2 psi. BUT , it had a mondo cam in it and reved to 7600. im thinking that with 70 more cubes it should be able to at least equal that with 1 extra psi boost but i dont know.
with the cammed 4.8 i got 1.40 60s and 3.90 330s and that engine was making no power under 4000rpms. im thinking the 6.0 may get me in the 1.30s
yay a believer... it is the stock truck cam. its about 10 degrees smaller than the ls6 cam
thanks for the numbers. 700-900lbs lighter is at least .5 in the eighth if not more, so the extra boost may get it in the 5s.
do you have any vids, and what cam did you have in yours?

This is how the op's car ran with 15psi on a 4.8, you can hear him pedal it after he releases the trans brake.

same turbo's his 6.0 should put them right in there sweet spot at 15psi I think. Should make more than what he made before. That's just me though. Again I'm saying 5.90's are doable.

how much would you say a stock lq4 with vic jr intake and good springs should make NA? about 375 at the flywheel?
i estimate the 4.8 was making 350 to 375 NA at the flywheel with the big cam

I am on the fence about that 5.99999 but because of what your were able to do with your last setup I think you will get there. Your previous combination threw conventional turbo wisdom in the trash can. About that 15 psi limit, we'll see. I think an extra pound or two will be in the future if your run a 6.03 -6.05 Good luck buddy, great build!

me too lol. honestly after seeing what some of these stock cam guys are doing in the NA section, I think it may not even take 15psi but that might be reaching
hehe, Im 300lbs. If I run a 6.03-6.05 again Im going to get someone half my weight to drive it and put it in the 5s. lol
conventional turbo wisdom LMAO -you mean like reverse split cams and special heads because the stock ones have a "thin" deck? LOL .yah, non of that here.
assuming the lq4 in stock performance form makes between 340 and 400 hp, then the reher morrison chart says it should run anywhere from 6.05 down to as fast as 5.73, if the car weighs 3000lbs

I think you will run in the 5.70 range. Like already mentioned. You already almost broke 6 when on "paper" you shouldn't have. Also, people forget you are running E85 NOT 91 octane. That with a water injection....yeah I think you will get it. Shoot, I hope so. I am trying to dip in the 5's with my set up and mine will weigh 3600-3700 race weight. However, I am willing to go to 19lbs with a good tune. Hopeing I can also hit it at 15lbs. I am running a bigger cam though and my suspension worked great before. Not sure if it still will with the turbo's but hoping so. I had some low 1.30's before on 9" tires. I'm pulling for you.
Check out this thread. Similiar but with the 5.3 and dyno'd pretty damn good. https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...ast-night.html
