Question Incon TT...

I have a Incon TT on my 98 z28. I am only boosting about 5.5 psi cause if i go any higher it starts leaning out. I was wondering what u guys recomend for more fuel pressure, or what kind of fuel pump i should get. Thanks in advance.

it prob isnt the fuel press, it is prob the injector size and stock pump wont keep up.
an inline will help, but i think you'll find inj size to be the next prob. 98 did have the bigger ones, but prob not the best. 42 would work with a 255 in line and a nice tune.
good for lots of boost.

Yes....at least 42lb SVO injectors and since you have a 1998, an easy pump upgrade would be the Racetronix dual in-tank

A single in-tank pump system is enough for this application.
An in-line pump is always choked by the factory in-tank pump.

I have to say a single Walbro 340 delivered more fuel to my motor than the stock pump and an inline Aeromotive. But, the Stock intank and inline Aeromotive was better than the stock alone.

I would say the problem is the injectors. What are you running? I was using the supplied intank pump, regulator, and SVO 42's when I ran the time in my sig.

i riped out the hole thing and re did it.
i run a -10 feed into a aro a1200 inline to speed inc rails to 50# injectors out with a -8 return into a aro regulator.
it works well, maybe a bit over kill, but it works.

i didnt trust 100% stock rails, and lines. I figured it would need to be done sooner or later so i did it sooner. I was having some issues with the dual intank as well. it would kick on under low boost and spike fuel pressure to 80psi and the car was booging and just didnt feel right. so i said what the hell and did the speed inc tank, rails and the rest.
im happy with it, and my fuel system will never hold me back.

If you have a properly sized return line, rail mounted fpr, rails, etc why not run both intank Walbros all the time. Why use a Hobbs switch?

Exactly!
All your problems were related to the factory regulation system not the DP itself.
FYI you can support 1000RWHP on -6 TFE line for a fraction of the price of rubber which by the way will not last with today's gasoline cocktail.

All I can say is my experience . . . I have the Incon TT kit on my car, as it was originally setup. Did not change a thing. I recently dynoed 621/684 to the rear with no fuel delivery problems . . . my engine did go, but it wasn't from fueling problems.

You did not mention what you are using for a fuel system

i did the pump just the way it was sent to me.
this isnt about that anyway, so take it easy, i never said anything about the pump being bad or anything. a friend took it apon himself to rig it to work in his car and it seems fine.
i got what i got and it works well for me.

When you make a statement such as "I ripped it out" people assume this was for a bad reason. People don't generally make a change unless they have a good reason to spend more money. We asked WHY you removed it so that everyone reading this thread can learn from what you may or may not have done properly which caused you to assume it was time for a change.
