Default Ati dampner? Do I need it?

I need to pin my crank pulley because my procharger might be spinning the crank pulley. I really don't know what exactly has to be done. Also can I just re use my stock harmonic balancer?

The ati dampner is a nice upgrade, but you can use your stock balancer. Manga charger makes a pinning kit that pins from the front. Just a quick search so you may be able to find it cheaper.

If you have already spun the balancer you may have done damage already.

As of right now I can't afford to spend the money on ati dampner, so I guess I'll stick to the one I have... I was looking at this kit ATI 3GKMM-004 GM LS Crank Pinning Kit
And it looks similar to the link you posted.

Ya that will do the trick. In case you haven't already damaged the crank, I would take it easy or not drive it at all until you get that pulley pinned to avoid it.

Hopefully everything is alright in there. Is one pin sufficient? Or can I pin it two spots?

You can do 2, but 1 will be fine.

You shouldn't really have a dampner spinning based on your sig's mods. It usually takes a little bit of power to have problems. I would also check the TQ on the crank bolt. I ended up using 1 pin on my stock dampener and it did just fine

I'll do 1 pin then.. I also don't think the crank is spinning or atleast I've had no issue with with sounds, metal flakes or wobbling pulleys I suspect the Procharger is the culprit because there is rubber dust on it and Procharger head unit.

i am using one pin. just tape off the drill bit and keep it lubricated and clean it up and pop her in. try to do it right the first time because putting the jig back up and lining the pulley back up just right can be a bitch.

Is this a six rib kit? If it is you have to use the stock balancer if you are using the ProCharger 6 rib crank pulley, as this crank pulley has pins on it that fit into the slots on the stock balancer. Here is the crank pinning kit. http://shop.brutespeed.com/ATI-3GKMM...-3GKMM-004.htm
The black dust you see is most likely from the blower belt slipping. The blower belt has to be really tight, much tighter than the other belts.
if you want a copy of the ProCharger installation instructions, send me an e-mail to brutespeed@gmail.com and let me know what kind of vehicle you need them for. Bob

Yeah, black dust is most likely from the belt slipping but I'd pin it A.S.A.P., before you ruin the engine...

The kit that I currently have is a 6 rib and for whatever reason I don't see pinning the crank instructed in a 6 rib setup which seems like an over sight on the part of Procharger but i did my install using the old manual but even in the new one pinning is only recommend for the 8 rib. I think I might have a local shop pin my crank if the price isn't too ridiculous plus the pinning kit is roughly a 100 dollars shipped any ways. The pulley on the head unit is rather small 3.2 I believe, my goal is 8 psi but now I'm thinking that the pulley is overkill and I should try a bigger one?

If you cant get the belt dust to stop showing its ugly face then you either need the 8 rib setup or a larger head unit pulley I would think, or maybe a different kind of belt. I personally use Gates as they have a 1 year warranty.
