Congrats on the times. That thing is making (and taking) some serious power, especially at your weight. Very impressive. I weigh almost the same and think im pushing it at 14lbs.
Ive seen a lot of people lose motors cus they ran the car on low gas and got that lean spike.

Yeah, I wasn't happy at all. Especially since the car has been running so well and I have only a few weeks to get it ready for our track day. If I recall, it put down 677/626 on 16 lbs. or so. Power drops off hard after 5700 or so. I think this winter I am going to go with a max effort 5.3 with a Martin cam and this same turbo. Will see how it runs next spring.

And sorry to hear about your motor Doug, hope to see it back together quick. Impressive 60 ft time though, looks good leaving the line wheels up!

Not trying to thread hi-jack, but what would the rest of the specs be on the 5.3 cams Martin? If you're willing to give them out that is.

Looks like you already made some good tear down progress too. Let me know what you end up finding when it comes apart some more, and good luck.

HA! I'm all too familiar with this statement man. If not for the dumbass mishaps, our motors would run forever with boost. But with HP and a turbo comes problems, guaranteed.

Ya i only worked a couple hours but i have been here before so its just getting in there and doing it. I will let you know what i find in there. I'm going to get a new oil pump and the Baffle that MUSTANGBRK suggested
Id be pissed if i spun a bearing in a forged motor but thats why use a stock cranks lol
Alky kit will help........
I used a sensor that DSTeck makes think hes on here but i found him on HPtuners great price works awesome its a 2.5 bar map.

Tore the motor down last night and found something better than what i expected. One rod really bent but every other rod had a slight bend to them. Still bought the oil pan baffle that bill mentioned and will go with a new oil pump before installing the next motor.
So pretty much found the limits of the gen3 rods and they were right where i thought they would be.
Buddy took this picture though it was awesome
