You have to remember Chaunce, Doug's car weighs 3500-3600lbs. It probably won't run sub 8.50's on the cast wheel turbo. Possibly the billet wheel, but he won't be able to 60' in the low 1.20's like some of these guys.
If he can there is only one place in the country where it's possible, and that's MIR.

Black gets my vote. Hell I don't care as long as it goes fast and makes me look good hahaha. Which is why I've been kind enough to donate my flex plate to Doug so he can go run some 8's at MIR this weekend.
When he realizes he can tie down the front end, tighten the shocks up full tight and throw 12psi of boost at it on the launch at MIR and it eats it all up and this thing goes a 8.70@160+ on 22psi with a 1.2x 60' in that cold MIR air....it will all be worth it then.

I hope this is true I would love to see it out there running. Doug has been thru a ton to get the car done in time.

haha I thought of that right after i made my first run and almost got the bumper! I was watching that video on the way home. I could have done that wheelie if i wanted to break something
I'm talking with bill@bulleye and he might get my turbo shipped down to Maryland Diesel Performance and i'll pick it up in MIR if all goes well tomorrow and i could bolt that sucker on friday or saturday morning. RUSH RUSH RUSH!!!
I'm trying like hell man. I have busted my *** to get it done and it sure hasnt been a walk in the park but some mid 8's would make it all worth it!!

Pipes were already wrapped by Bradford Campbell. I think I saw you post in his build thread, so you've probably seen them. He said he bought a blanket but was told not to run it on the turbo. No idea why, I'm new to the turbo game.

Ron Davis Radiator stood up with aftermarket fan. I'm thinking I may cut some sort of vent into my stock SS hood so some of that hot air can escape.
