Frame and susp is fine, it hooks like a boss. Just heavy. Used mild steel .134 for the cage and 1/8 plate to box the fame. I'd like to make it lighter just dont see how I could.
As for taking the record. Let's just say I'll be happy if I can get it running soon. A lot has changed. I need to update this thread.

Its been running for about 2 weeks now. Just been ironing the bugs out. Still the same combo, same 5.3 and same turbos.
Its a true dual fuel setup, but for now I'm just running e85 on both systems( trying to keep it simple and get a handle on staged injection, ect) Seems to add in the secondarys seamlessly.
Feels real fast, but maybe thats cause I havent driven it in 10months. I'll be at norwalk this weekend so come check it out and say hey.

Nice build!! Ive been at 17lbs on 5.3 lm7 motor in my dragboat and end of yr race is coming up and id like to run 20lbs from the twin on3 70mm turbs.is your's the weaker rod motor as well? I keep afr in the mid 11's under boost and timing at 14* up top, boost is chilled by a lake water cooled a2w.have been runnin pumpgas at 17lbs but will run 100ll for 20lbs, jus worried the rods wont handle it.i spin 7100 on 17lbs

Looks great! Still going intercooler-less? What size injectors did you end up with? Plan on E85 and methanol as the two fuels? What did you do for pumps?

The engine is an 05 with the better rods.
No I/Cs, I really don't like the idea of buying ice. Yes the extra injectors will be on meth once its sorted. The small system consists of a walbro 255 and factory flex fuel truck injectors. (36lbs at 3 bar) the secondary consist of a home brewed belt drive pump that I attached a clutch to. ( no need to pump fuel if you don't need it) plus an electric would never keep up with the volume meth requires. The pump works flawlessly so far. Bosch 160s @70psi base for the secondary injectors
