Because a pair of Precision billet journal bearing 7675s will support 2000hp, and will be more than you need. They are around $2800 for the pair.

If you were doing the build yourself, all welding and such, and depending on the car itself you can do that. I would do a borg warner S480 tho, in a T6 housing. Use truck manifolds, and a air to water intercooler. You would have to pick and choose used parts to piece the kit together tho. And see if you can get a muffler shop to let you pick scrap pipes.
I would plan a more realistic budget of 3500 or so if you were still doing the kit yourself.

more-so than 76's my point was that you aren't going to do **** with 2500 bux, and beyond a shadow of a doubt would it be *best* of anything.

lol OP, you need to do some research. There are people making 1000+ rwhp on a single 88. Also, just like MIGHTYMOUSE said, with 2500 you can start buying stuff for a turbo kit, but there's no way that would be enough to complete a turbo setup. Especially twins. Spend a lot more time reading on here, look at the "Real cost of forced induction" sticky at the top of this section too.
im hijacking this thread on account of its useless anyways.. MightyMouse know andbody around raleigh that has a 12bolt/9in/8.8 for sale for around like 12-1400? or a good place to get used turbo parts, ie wastegate bov..and fuel?

sorry ill try to give a little more info plan on running a auto trans eagle crank and rods diamond dish pistons, patriot head Combustion Chamber: 69cc Intake Runner: 227cc
Exhaust Runner: 70cc Intake Valve: 2.08" Exhaust Valve: 1.60", victor jr intake with a elbow and 90mm tb id like to make atleast 800 rwhp mostly street mabye a few passes at the track and sorry i was told 88mm by someone else this is my first turbo car thats why im asking as for the hot side i can do that myself just wanted something good to start with can always upgrade to a better setup latter 10g is just too much for me right now

i dont need everything in "The Real Price of Forced Induction" just the kit he says 4500, im sure there is more then one turbo i can use cause ill never make 2000hp im lookin to make 1200 tops thoughts on Turbonetics?
I don't think it's so much of the cost of the turbo parts it's the fact that you have to build everything else up according to the turbo like tranny, fuel pump, injectors, tune, rear end etc. So everything will handle the torque. When I'm done with my s10 I'll have about $1,800 into it in just turbo parts including a tune but when you look at everything else I changed revolving around the turbo set up it's way more. And I don't even have the best of turbo parts just stuff that will work but will still perform well and suite my needs. But when your talkin on making 800+ horse your going to have over $2500 in turbo parts alone. Hell I'm only going to make 600whp max and I'm at $1800. It's going to cost you a **** load for your other parts to support that kind of power as I stated earlier. alot of people just look at the cost in parts alone and forget to look at the big picture with all the other added expenses.
yeah i understand that im already building the motor all forged internals arp crank bolts, eagle rod bolts are rated for 1250, 1/2 head studs, upgrading the fuel system, prob go with a moser 9" rear idk what trans yet but all i was lookin for was the cold piping everything for the oil for the turbos coolers and turbos
