UPDATE:
Went to the dyno again two weeks ago. We swapped the valve springs. However, I could not make a single clean pull. All kinds of electrical issues. Blew the fuse to the coils, burned an injector driver in the Microsquirt. Only silver lining was that on the one decent pull I made, I made 752 RWHP @ 5200 rpm. That is up 200 RWHP at that RPM over the 852 RWHP pull.
So, I swapped out the engine harness this last weekend and I "think" the issues with the electricals are finally over. Old harness was trouble. I will be back at it this weekend and also at the track. Hoping for over 950 RWHP and to get into the 8's.

Yeah, I think it would have made some impressive power had it pulled to 7k. Hopefully this weekend.

Another trip to the track this weekend to see how the car would run with the new valves springs and wiring harness. Here was the first pass. I was very psyched to see the slip...
However, the 60 foot was wayyyyyy off and the mph was not enough for this kind of ET. This pass was actually a 9.3, which I was able to determine by loading the raw footage that someone else took of the car and my friend's RX7 crossing the traps and going frame by frame through the footage and subtracting the difference in time from my friend's known good pass.
I ran another 9.3 next run, and then I was in the semi-finals of True Street. Unfortunately, my downpipe was hammering fuel rich anti-lag exhaust into the beams (which was giving me problems all day with the lights) and it gave me a false red. This pass was a 9.2/5.8 @ 145.25 and 118.8, but I lost. The track issued an apology on FB, but that is racing. This was an average of 17 psi and still 13* of timing. I pulled out 6% fuel before this run and picked up 4 mph. So, I still need to lean it out as it is rolling coal. Average A/F was 11.2, but it seems richer than that. Also, it went into the 10.4 zone at the top of 3rd.
I can report that I had no loss of sync issues at all, and the sensor inputs were great. So, the new harness was a big plus. I don't think I actually needed the springs, but they are good for piece of mind.
This weekend I am going to try to get the new intake on and hit the track again. I think 8's are imminent.

So, I finally got around to swapping off the LS1 intake yesterday. I picked up a Typhoon from a friend for a very reasonable price and it went on with little drama. We took it out and it jumped a full point in A/F at 10 psi. I would say this moves some air and the LS1 was a restriction.
Going to add some fuel and get back to the track. I did not see any jump in IATs over the LS1 and the intake was touchable after driving around and making several hits.
