You are a ******* clown. 900whp with 80s on E85? That would require the injectors to be completely maxed out and run extremely high fuel pressure. For 900whp I would want atleast 120lb injectors. I have 120lb injectors at 700whp on E85 with not alot of room to grow.

Seems like your the clown. It's all about fuel pressure.
Denmah is only using 50% of his injectors right now, add 40% more for e85 that makes it 90% still at his hp level which should be about 700whp, so tell me how the **** your maxing out 120lb injectors.

and stickers add horsepower too! go start another thread to argue it if you want and let matt's thread alone. he already said he doesnt want to do e85 so let it alone.

thanks, heads are on, and car is running already, everything seems ok but its midnight.

we pulled the heads off my friends 2010 truck, and we threw them on the fairmont and threw some 220k heads on the truck instead haha... threw that all together and its running good

then installed these heads and put the rest of my car together and fired it.

it was lean at idle, where i had a 13.0 or so pulling best vacuum and now it was a 14.7 or a little higher nearly 15.0

threw in the fuel at idle and i will take her out tomorrow, see when i can get on the dyno next to see what these heads did at 14 and 18psi or more...

Yes injectors are maxed out, but it works just fine. We've done it on several cars and lots of street miles on them, pressure is key. It's also on stock rails too w hich "can't be done".

And you have run that up to 22lbs correct? I am really rethinking the whole head stud thing then. ARP bolts sounds good to me. I am going to run the Holley dominator or hp efi system to control it all.
I really hate but love this thread all at the same time!!!

Heck yeah man. Pretty sure we found the limit of a Walbro 485 last night. 75 psi base pressure and creeping into the high 12s in 4th gear at 14ish psi. Trapped 147 on a 9.68 pass. Going to do a race gas tune to finish out the year. What pump/s was skinnies on? Double or triple 255s?

I say the car picks up 60whp at 18psi no spray with the 799s.

honestly we have run a little over 20lbs on my friends older 4.8 with paper gaskets and TTY bolts, soo.... hahaha we just get the ARPs usually because when we have swapped heads and they are easy and reusable.

next few motors we are gunna use those 69 dollar studs.

65ftlbs sometimes anymore than that on the bolts feels like they are gunna break, and i have busted one trying to get the 75 they say to tq them too, usually whatever the impact gun slows down around, last night i was using a 1/2 inch electric impact that would stop them about 55-65ftlbs so we hammered them all down quick with that and then clicked over them and most were right around 65lbs, wich is great we had been using the impact for 6 hours strait when we tore down my friends truck, and put it back together then did the fairmont right after haha.

Im pretty sure he's going to throw the springs from his old head on there.

Denmah When do you plan on using those $60 head studs? How do you think theyll work with a HC setup with nitrous?

I'm using those head studs. I've made 504rwhp on 8.6lbs and they are holding so far. Going to shoot for 14-15lbs on Friday.
