At your weight it shouldn't be a problem, I agree with modular something is missing on power.

It went 138mph with the previous setup (GT45, and th400) WITH nitrous down the hole track. With this setup he traped 2mph more in the 1/8th not sure what that adds up to in the 1/4 though. 140mph pass instore?

yes with the old setup
4.8, one ported corvette head, one stock truck head,
gt45 turbo, 22lbs of boost, 125shot of nitrous the whole way

it went 111 in the 8th mile and 138 in the 1/4 with 40% converter loss and a 1.7x 60ft

this setup is going 108 mph in the 8th mile on a 2.07 60ft on 18lbs and no spray.

my 4.8 car on a good day would go 102 8th mile and then like 128 AT LEAST lol

40% converter slip is crazy. Lol.
That setup with a good converter would've went mid 140s no problem.

LOL, I remember there was something else to it but couldn't place what it was. I think there was a thread on here about the truck I think.

I just figured that you were driving too much to get the cage done....I have a hard time putting my car down during the summer, but the winter time is a different story

ive been bleeding the brakes and i think i have most of the **** out i was able to get 3500ish there and 2+psi before it went nuts

and thats 26psi in the tires on a cold night.

prepped track on 13psi in the tire should hold still better...

A better controller will help on the footbrake too, with my controller and slicks I can get 14lbs at 3800rpm on the footbrake on the street lol. Also might want to look into putting an inline check valve with the brake booster hose, this helped mine A LOT.

I meant one with co2 for example, putting 15lbs of pressure on the top of gate vs none is a huge difference.

where did you get your check valve, i have the factory check valve on there but it might not be good enough.

thanks for the help, i can see when it starts taking the vaccum away it looses brake pressure that makes sense.
