How much HP difference 317's vs. L92's on a turbo 6L?
Starting to plan my stock bottom end turboed 6L project and I wondered if anyone has real world numbers showing the difference between the 2 heads with say 10-15psi boost.
Im hoping to make 600ish HP with stock bottom end LQ4, cam, meth inj. and blow thru.
If I could stick with the 317's I could save some cash, but I'm curious what I'd be leaving on the table vs. L92's (50hp, 100hp?)
Any thoughts?

Nothing to back this up but i would say the difference on a boost motor would be minimal. What turbo will you be using? You should have no problem making or exceeding your horsepower goals with a stock 317 heads.

if you are shooting for a specific boost number then yes you are leaving 50+ hp on the table as the l92s will flow much better, if you are just shooting for a hp goal then save your money and put it some where else other then the heads.
boost is a false number to base hp off of, 15psi of boost in a ristricted head will not net the same power as say afr heads.
my .02 save your money on the heads

Stick with the 317's and have a valve job done on them and/or some small port work.
You will be leaving some on the table as the L92's do flow better, and having the bigger intake valve on a boosted motor will compound the airflow gains under boost. Bigger valve=more air in, more air out.
