Default How much HP difference 317's vs. L92's on a turbo 6L?

Starting to plan my stock bottom end turboed 6L project and I wondered if anyone has real world numbers showing the difference between the 2 heads with say 10-15psi boost.
Im hoping to make 600ish HP with stock bottom end LQ4, cam, meth inj. and blow thru.
If I could stick with the 317's I could save some cash, but I'm curious what I'd be leaving on the table vs. L92's (50hp, 100hp?)
Any thoughts?

Nothing to back this up but i would say the difference on a boost motor would be minimal. What turbo will you be using? You should have no problem making or exceeding your horsepower goals with a stock 317 heads.

if you are shooting for a specific boost number then yes you are leaving 50+ hp on the table as the l92s will flow much better, if you are just shooting for a hp goal then save your money and put it some where else other then the heads.
boost is a false number to base hp off of, 15psi of boost in a ristricted head will not net the same power as say afr heads.

my .02 save your money on the heads

Stick with the 317's and have a valve job done on them and/or some small port work.

You will be leaving some on the table as the L92's do flow better, and having the bigger intake valve on a boosted motor will compound the airflow gains under boost. Bigger valve=more air in, more air out.

Sounds like custom grind cam would net the best results for your existing heads and combo. Lower priced and less labor. Than new heads and install parts.

I'm going to be running some ported 317s. Nothing crazy on the port work though. If your not happy with the power, turn up the boost. Done.

Thanks for all the helpful replies. I'll stick with the 317's for now
