could you give us an overall width of the headers installed in both configurations. I want to pull the trigger on these but i want to make sure they fit between the strut towers of my project car.

These aren't my headers guys...i found these pics in the thread linked above from yellowbullet. If you want measurements you'll have to contact the OP on yellowbullet.

it seems like it would fit down and forward on a fourth gen car but would need some work for up and forward.

I know the thread is a little old but I did buy a set of the obx's in mention, although there not going in a forth gen, there going in kit car. I'd be totally willing to post up a couple measurements of the widths... not camaro related but here's a couple pics of my build..

Hey thanks, and Yeah its a late 80's porsche 911 turbo transaxle.. I bought a Kennedy adapter, clutch and flywheel to mate it. I'll be using it in a mid engine tube chassis replica..
