Got trans put in. I moved the motor back two inches which got my intake set up to fit under the 2 inch cowl hood and my IC and rad, fan and a/c condenser to fit. But now I have to reconfigure my steering shaft as it is right in the way of my down tube.

Moved back, plenty of room

Little massaging with the air hammer and no more clearance issues

I want to modify the cross member, going to add loops that the exhaust will run through.

Finally got IC, Rad mounted. Ran all the rad lines too. Looks close but there is really a quarter inch between the water pump pulley and fan

Had to modify the dirty dingo sliding motor mounts

Got my down tube and steering figured

Could you post pics of brake booster mounting and linkage. Did you it hit the road yet? And if so how is the brake booster location/ pedal feeling????

beautiful ride! one day I'd like to do a 71-72 chevelle, 66-67 nova, or 70-73 Camaro very similar to this. Amazing work and attention to details!

Did you have to mod your firewall to push your motor back? Got pics of the clearances? Got a 66 with a stock front clip and a lq4 that I'm doing a twin setup on.

Beautiful car, but i would be a little worried about over heating. U have a a/c condenser and a huge intercooler with only a little bit of ur rad showing. U should have had 417 make u one of those atow intercoolers that fit the holley intake.

I just went through your thread and saw that you cut the firewall. Car looks killer. Any more updates?

got a PM from someone which reminded me of this thread. I had to tuck it away but now back at it strong. Made a munch of changes which required new body work and fabrication. Really hope to have it on the street this summer.

I did not cut the fire wall. I used adjustable mounts and had to modify them. I also slightly modified the trans tunnel. Everything clears with little room.

Although I think it will be fine I am no looking at installing the new brushless spal fans which will give me more room.
