Default my lt1 hit 28 psi of boost today. waiting for the dyno

i drove my car today and i hit 25 psi and i stop looking almost hit 30 psi. im hoping to have it up on the dyno within a week. i have to wait for more money to come my way to pay for the dyno. i drove it today without good tabs and no insurance. the thing sounded like a jet plaine taking off. the engine sounded really good no detention on 92 octain pump gas .

sorry for no video im just so excited i had to post it up. next time im drive it i will video record it.

Knock off at least 10 psi of boost or you won't even make it to the dyno.

Was the car street tuned or you're waiting for the dyno to tune it?
What's the setup?

20+psi is alot for any LT/LS car on 92octane.
Keep us posted

the engine is 8:1 compression. and it was dyno tuned. but i bumped up the boost a little. and the pistons are custom boost dimond pistons. manley pro i beam rods and callis steath crank. and total seal rings.

Good luck man seems like a great setup.
What turbo? ci ?

Even with 8:1 comp the boost is still very high on 92octane.

the engine is a 383 with 72mm turbonetics turbos. turbonetic set the turbo up for me. and the a/f is 11.5 under boost and around13.5 at idle. and i didnt mean to hit 28psi i had my old manual boost controller hook up and had a boost spike. but im getting a electronic boost controller. i was trying to get around 20 psi

60 psi and 87 octane for the win!

Throw a meth kit on and you'll be fine hitting that boost level.
