Exclamation Divided T6 or no?

I am about to start building my T6 kit but am wondering as to which way to go? I have a open T6 flange already but I only want to build this kit once. Turbo is a divided S480 1.32 AR and a 370 CI motor. 4l80e.

If ur gonna use a spool valve, do it. If u aernt, I still would. Either knife edge it for flow, or keep each bank totally separate.

i have a theory about that, lol.

I cannot help but think that Borg Warner put it their for a reason, if your not gonna use a spool valve, i would do it 100% divided. Just my .02, take it for what its worth

Like i said, They had to have a reason to use it.

From looking around I don't see much difference in performance between the two. I think I will just use the open flange that I have.

I agree!! Borg Warner has made tturbos for years their engineers are probably a lot smarter than us so there must be a reason for the divided housing. Which way you end up doing it??

I def stuck to the divided flange, and i have to admit, it looks awesome, and from messing around in neutral in the driveway tonight, i think its going to come up on boost pretty quick,

If i was bored, and had aspirations of amazing-ness, id fab up another crossover, identical to mine now, except with merged pipes... and see what happens... lol

The 80 denotation after the 4 let's you know that it is a 80mm compressor wheel on the 400 series chassis.
