procharged coolant temp high
here's the set up
aes 390 with f1a car got up to 230 on a 40 min trial run.
running stock radiator with procharger fan and a derale 9in. car has a fmic
looking for ideals, i figured the stock rad would suffice oh also has a 160 t-stat i know that doesnt mean much but just added it so all know.
thanks in advance.

Pullers are more efficient than pushers. You sure Lashway got all of the air out of the system? I'm running an LT1 radiator as they're a bit thicker and managed to modify the stock fans to fit which has helped tremendously in keeping the car cool. I assume Lashway also had the fan(s) kick on sooner temperature wise?

well i removed the ac and condenser and still have the air deflector in stock location.
im going to see the car today and see whats going on. i would think they would know how to get the air out since installing a brand new engine and supercharger, i'll report back later tonight.

Both fans can be on the engine side so they're pullers. As has been mentioned, pullers are much more efficient. I'd suspect there is air in the system, it shouldn't be running hot just driving around. If it runs hot at all, it would happen when stuck in traffic with the a.c. on. Bob

I don't know how much room between them. And in stop and go with the ac on it would stop around 210. Before it used to go 240 and the. I would have to turn ac off and turn the heat on. I also think I have a high amount of coolant. I should make it 75 water 25 coolant. It's so much better with the two fans now. And I guess you could make it better buy upgrading the 16" fan too.

I had issues with the temp creeping up towards 230 when I first got my motor back together, never did it before with this setup. I put a vacum on the radiator and pulled all the air out and now it never gets above 205, and that's with a stock thermostat and with a/c on in stop and go traffic.
