Very nice I've always loved 3rd Gen Camaros and you're building a very nice example.

Fireball, do yourself a favor and replace your steering shaft with one from an astrovan.

did some research on that...interesting.

Actually looks like a jeep one works well too....guy on TGO sells them prepped for about $60.

http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/en...t-upgrade.html

Can also do it with new flaming river components, but its about $250 in parts.

Me and the MIG welder aren't getting along to well today

wire keeps bunching up at the drive roller

Nonetheless, got the driver side Subframe connector tacked in...

BMR "outside" SFC

Cleaned area before welding in the SFC. small amount of rust on the pinch weld area. wire brushed well and sprayed 3 coats of rust converter. Would never know it sat outside in a "field" for 15 years

SFC tacked in

both SFCs are in. Mocked the rear up in place to get measurements for the coilover shocks. Looks like I'll have to modify the lower shock mounts to get my ride height right. AFCO 3850s will be a too short and 3870s are a bit too long. Had a spare 3870 shock from the firebird anyhow, so I'll make them work

MADMAN 4th gen torque arm...the crossmember is perfect width with the outside BMR SFCs
