Blake came down last night and helped me brain storm how to do the rear frame/cage/shock mounts, then helped me notch and tack. 2 guys with skills can get a Helluva lot more done than 1. Thanks Bro! Still have to add top rear frame rail and a couple of gussets. Running a threaded "spud" through frame rail for upper shock mount. Will mount ARB across lower rear "hoop" under package tray. Called AFCO today because one of the plastic compression adjuster ***** is broken, they sent me 2 billet alum. ***** absolutely FREE! Awesome company.

And still have 8 large dia tubes and as many gussett tubes to notch and weld in. Plus upper shock mounts, battery tray, parachute release, seat/harness tabs, seat brace, etc...... anxious to get the bottom of the car painted. Hopefully early next week.

Thanks, Chevelle. We've talked on the phone before, hope I didn't sound to flakey. I tend to over research/think about everything, but I do have a damn good idea of what I'm doing. I'll usally ask half a dozen people advise if I'm not sure of something and if 2 of them give the same advise and it makes sense to me, then that's the direction I go. Still up in the air about rear gear, I'm about to pull the trigger on a new Strange Ultra w/3.40 gear set. Also up in the air on engine management. I have HPtuners already, but have limited experiance working with it, and $800-$1000 in dyno time and help from someone else will be required to get the tune right ONCE. Then if I change something I'm back in the same boat and I still would have to have 2step, and boost controller. BS3 has lovers and haters. Holley Dominator is supposed to do everything I want, but doesn't work as advertised yet(politically correct way of saying they F'ed up the design and won't work with stock coils and their coil packs look stupid with plug wires crisscrossing the engine.)

Every tube that is shown is fully welded expect the unrequired passenger side kidney bar. I thought it looked unbalanced without it. Also went ahead and put a lower seat bar on the passenger side too. still have 4 required gussets fron the A-pillar to the door X the center forward/trans crossmember, and some extra guessets on the rear hoop in the truck to the main frame rails. Removing the floors sucked as did welding the cage plates to the rocker panels.

Thanks for the offer. I'm pretty set on Holley Dominator hope they will get the stock coil situation taken care of in the next 2 weeks. We have an excellent load bearing dyno in Springfield Nick the Saab tuner.
