Cool thanks, have to stop buy a JY for the flex, remember the car?
a guy on lat G is selling off his turbo parts, might try to buy his headers,
a guy has a 44mm turbonetics waste gate, would this be good for my combo, I'm basically trying to mirror yours, or do I need bigger,

The car finally all came together last week and the is running well so we headed down to Ia for the weekend. Dropped the little munchkin off at Gma and Gpa's and went to Cedar Falls Midnight Mania. There were just the right amount of cars. A little of everything. Its really a great deal at $20.
The car was having an issue cutting out after a long pull on 20psi so I backed it down a little to 17psi on the street. At the track it ended up around 19psi with good traction. I also installed a set of caltracs to replace my sweet slapper bars and swapped to Hoosier DOT 335/35/17 drag radials. The first run I put a 10psi spring in the wastegate to establish a baseline and make sure the car was smooth. Timers were not set up right so no timeslip on that. Did a few runs with traction issues and lifted a couple times. 11.10, 10.8, etc. Dropped the tire pressure down to 18 and let the car cool a bit and did the 10.39. Ended up being the best pass of the night. Car slowed a little later to 10.5's around midnight. Track wasnt feeling as good as the dew rolled in and I also took the cutoff cap off which didnt help I guess.
I entered the competition at the end of the night for the top 4 fastest domestics. Me, a red 421cu na stripped S-10, a new CTS-V coupe with some light mods in the low 11's, and a black Mustang with unknown mods running the 8th mile all night. I lined up with the Mustang first, he killed me off the start but ended up taking him up top. Next, ran the S-10 but he got me as it was dead consistent. It was supposed to be a street car event with mufflers and street tires but they let him take the title with open headers. Oh well.
I'll probably go back to the track later this year with more boost and maybe try a few simple things like unhooking the sway bar and trying to build some boost off the line to eventually have my 9 second street car that can also turn corners. Hopefully some others can make it down too.
Heres one video. The Honda in the right lane was my wifes favorite car of the night lol.

44mm would work but it really depends on how LOW of boost you want to run. If your going to try 5-6 lbs, go bigger. Mine controls good at 10lbs but prob no need to go lower for me.
