Thanks for the kind words! That is my plan, I definitely won't be making huge strides but bit by bit it will get there

Thanks Ron! Yeah those tires were done lol
kha4079, Thanks for the compliments and insight! I realize my timing was set low but was trying to work my way up gradually. Unfortunately the one gas station that carried E85 is no longer selling it so I will probably add a water/methanol kit next, or just run race gas for track outings seeing as I don't make that many....not sure yet. I wasn't going to switch cams on the 5.3 as I'm saving that for my 6.0 that will be going in this winter.
Stay tuned...it should get interesting next summer

hahahah dude that last video got me good. Are you Ken blocks distant cousin? Very nice build. I am definitely an A-body fan, have a 71 GTO and a Skylark getting the LS turbo juice as we speak. Here is the link if you want to check it out https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...3-skylark.html What are you tuning your car with?

Glad you liked the vid, no relation unfortunately lol. Maybe if I was related I could get a discount on tires haha. The Skylark looks like a fun project!
I'm using the stock 0411 pcm and EFILive to tune it.
I bought the intercooler from CXracing, just found the biggest one I could fit in between the grill and the radiator and the intercooler piping was a general 3" kit found on Ebay.

Haha nice, def not me. That is a stupid short video too, hope my vids are a little better quality than that lol.
I'm hoping to finally get my car on a wheel dyno this summer and make at least one 1/4 mile track outing since I didn't even go last year.

Pretty good, ordered pushrods for it Monday so hopefully it will be buttoned up by this weekend.
I will have to post pics later, I've been lazy and haven't put the pics on my computer yet lol

Update time!
The 5.3 coming out, sold to a friend that is swapping it into a 1st generation camaro.
Some motor assembly pics
Stock piston's ftw haha
stock oil pump slightly ported and shimmed, double roller timing set
Pin it to win it!
More stock piston glory also of mention is the fact I balanced the rotating assembly since I switched to gen 4 rods
Stock 317 heads, valve job done, double springs
Studded with LS9 gaskets
Previously mentioned pushrods, had to order some shorter ones to get the right lifter preload
Stock rockers, no trunion upgrade here
Starting to look like a motor again, just tossed on some dirty stock manifolds for upcoming dyno session
Found a 4-corner steam vent crossover while in the jy
More stock parts love, intake/rails/tb
Getting settled in for a beating
The electrical mess to make it all work on the engine dyno
Ready to make some NA pulls
Ended up making 450hp and 440 ft/lb tq NA through the stock manifolds and some 2.5" chambered mufflers. I was pretty happy with those #'s considering it's more or less a stock rebuild with a moderate cam.
Stay tuned, I have some more dyno stuff to post that includes something that whistle's
