Default Is anybody using Probe pistons in their FI engine?

I'm looking at getting a set of pistons for a 370 build since I found out about some crappy **** the previous owner had in the engine and I bought it without knowing. I looked up some pistons on Summit and found a set of Probe pistons for a relatively cheap price. Is anybody using them here? Here is a link to the ones I found.

I run diamond pistons you can run a relatively cheap rod if Ur not spinning the **** out of your motor but u don't wanna put the words FI cheap and piston together.

Yeah I know what you mean. It's making me just go ahead and bite the bullet and get a set of Wiseco's instead. Its an extra 275 from Summit but that little 275 will be well worth it compared to building another motor.

That is not their premium forged piston. That SRS series was meant to compete with the JE SRP series pistons. Mark Probe I believe is the man behind the name. I have ran their valves, shaft rockers, and pistons in various builds without failure. I would not hesitate to use their top of the line piston but these you listed are not them.

Well what are their top of the line pistons? I went to their site and all I see is SRS (Sportsman Race Series) and FPS (Factory Performance Series). It also says for heavily boosted race cars, SRS are the perfect piston and thats what I linked in my first post.

87silverbullet,

Crap! Your right FPS was what i had in mind. These linked are the right ones. I wouldn't be afraid to use them. It's been several years since I bought my stuff I have lost track. They only offered their best at the time. I have used 2 sets of their pistons. They were custom made not shelf pistons. Back then they we're Ross forgings that they machined.
