2013 Shelby GT500 Dyno #'s

What gets me is that all of a sudden the ford boys are acting as if the 2013 shelby is all new and the baddest thing since, well the 5.0 engine.
Well.... if anyone remembers correctly through FRPP ANYONE that has a shelby could get a 700hp kit (what this car is really making) with a warranty and call it a day.
Its very simple... add a big blower, it will make more power. I don't understand the hype. Or better put, if it doesn't make 600rwhp and trap 130mph+ then its a waste... it better perform at that power level.

yeah i think there are 3 FI options for a GT from the ford racing division that can be deal installed and tuned locally . the big one being the 2.9L crusher.
I mean don't get me wrong, but I am really just concerned that Ford listens to their customers more than GM listens to us. Rather it seems like they will showcase something and ask "Do you like this" .....all I am saying, is ask us what we like before you make it, as opposed to after.
Fail to plan, you plan to fail.

i feel you're trolling with the above.....and my car's not a shelby...just a gt.....but for the record, at 75mph, i'm averagaing 27 to 28.5mpg,.,,,,with only 1800 on the odometer. the gt's are only supposed to get 26 on the highway.

Can't wait to see how bad this kills the resale value of the 2012's. I mean, the 12 is no slouch either. I'd be happy with one of those too. But these 13's are awesome. I have to say I used to be somewhat brand loyal, these days I'll take anything from the big 3 for the most part. Ford has improved leaps and bounds from back in the day. I used to swear I would never own a Ford, until 2010 when I purchased a little ol Focus. I love that car for a dd on my 100 mile round trip. Oh, and Ford was burned enough back in the day on H.P. and M.P.G. #'s. They're not going to repeat on that. My Focus was rated at 34 highway. I can easily get 36. I've even got as high as 40. Just my 0.02. Oh and great Tune only dyno vid.

yeap they both added hp and well gm added a ton more to the f body than just hp,i am a gm guy but everyone has to admitt that the mustang is freaking cool just as is the ZL1 is bad to the bone if you knock either one your just not being truthful they are both great cars and we should be happy to live during this time period in the hp wars.

I am in a wheelchair since 05,and i have built a pretty cool f body i like to think, and because of a surgery that didnt go well a few months ago, i may not be able to drive it now.All that being said i still feel lucky to have the hp wars to keep me going.Being able to read about and see such great cars rolling down the street again ,as in 1970 when i was 5. I saw a new f body for the first time and never forgetting the black beast to this very day. I always said that i would own one.

I have had so many car over the years and wasted so much money ,as someone might say,but as any true hp nut can say. Divide the money by the smiles add the tickets in ,the amount of hp you made, and what it sells for afterwards and how much you have left for the next project. it all comes out to be well worth the investment lol.

We just finished dynoing a bone stock 2013 GT500 on our MD-250, It made 550whp, So the 609 on a Dynojet would make sense.
Since then we did a smaller pulley swap, headers, t-stat, throttle body & bigger cold air intake with custom tune. We are seeing 668whp. 120whp gain is quite impressive. Car is ran on 94 pump gas.
Cheers!
