What do you guys think, is it worth it?

I would do it. BTW, there's quite a few flex fuel stations in the L.A. area. There's 2 in the South Bay alone. There also another off the 405 just before the 10fwy. There is a "Flex-Fuel" app you can download. It gives you the closes E85 stations near you.

I think I'm going to stick with 91 and Meth DEELOC1. I downloaded the app and I think its going to be a pain not being able to go on long cruises. Maybe if more open in the LA area. 100extra rwhp wont help me when I can't fill up anywhere. Keep me posted on how well it works for you bud

if you open the car up a few times the tank will be draining so fast it'll be time to make the trip back to the pump. a tank of e85 goes quick

you all realize that if you're house burns down and insurance realizes you had 55 gallons of fuel aka "hazardous materials", you might not be covered? if you're in an apartment or condo and other people's homes get burnt, you might be liable as well. Not worth it to me....

Yes, we realize you are the neighbor that will call the fire department when you see us bringing a 55 gallons of e85 into our garage and complain of how hazardous it is...lol...jk! That is a good point though! Pretty sure it's well over the limit of being able to store a combustible/hazardous material without a permit or placard...lol!

hahah my tuner tried to talk me into running e85, but I'm in the same boat, I live in so cal and there is hardly any E85 near me. Plus I drive the car A LOT. like 90% street use, so theres no way I could pull off running it. I seem to be doing just fine on 91 with meth

It makes me paranoid enough to always have 5 gallons of meth, and 5-10 gallons of 91 in the garage at all times. Even thats enough to burn your garage to the ground

Alexcoreas, i figure it'll be around $1500 with fic 160's. My magnafuel 4302 (protuner 525) only costs $150 to be upgraded to the 4303 (protuner 750). Then, for new fuel lines and fittings $400ish or less...injectors $1000 if i can catch fic when they're having another sale...lol!
