Meth failure?
no one that I know of here local... but the car is not tuned for the meth injection to keep the car alive just to kool the air charge.

I agree. I'm just wandering who's actually had it bite em in the ***. Or just whos had any kind of meth failure. I'm using snow meth and pretty comfortable with the setup and tune.

yep if you are using meth as a direct fuel source or as a crutch against detonation running stupid timing your asking for trouble... i take a chance at the track and up my timing but i have a very aggressive IAT table to pull timing for high IAT's. i back the timing down on the street so the meth doesnt really matter if it fails.

I use AIS and no failures. Of course I tuned to NOT use it and then added it. I kept adding more alcohol to the water mixture until the car ran better. I know it is kind of backwards but the car has run a best of 118mph in the 1/8th and it is a daily driven 4000lb chevelle. I also use E85 so even if the meth fails the E85 gives you a ton more room for error.
i would not advise tuning it to be dependant on the meth. use it for the cooling benefit only if possible. i mean you can add a degree or two, but just pretend its going to break on day. no pump lasts forever. might be today might be 10 years. better safe than sorry.
I've tuned about 30 cars methe dependant. No failures to date. We use alky control kit's only from our long experience with them. Use to work at a Ford shop that only used Snow kits. Atleast once a week they had a failure with those kits.Luckilly they only used crap windsheild washer fluid.
