https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...-370-d1-8.html

Little back ground... Bought the car around 3 years ago bone stock with 123K miles for a very good deal. Ran 9.0-9.1s in the summer time bone stock. Not long after I installed VIG 3600 converter and a lid with a ported TB.. Never made it to the track with this setup. Nitrous has been on it twice but never taken to the track, ran several cars with it though.. Will post some vids later on that, ran very good on the 100 hit.

How I came about this particular build.. I have always wanted a FI build whether it be a turbo or blower.... That coupled with Lemons12's persuasive comments lead me to actually pull the trigger on a D1 kit I came across locally. I had a lot of miles on my short block and I'm sure it was tired so I also picked up a rebuilt short block with ARP rod bolts from Lemons' as well.

Setup is going to look something like:
Stock bottom 346 (1,200 miles) with ARP bolts, stock 317s, stock ls6, intake, meth, EPP Blower cam
D1 FMIC big race bypass set @ 8# for now
Pacesetters 1 3/4 for now with Kooks ORY/cutout/magnaflow.. Will be moving to TSP 1 7/8s X pipe before axle soon
Stock rebuilt rear with 373s
Stock 4l60e PTC 3400 converter
Race Stars with 325/28" MTs

I started the built thread a tad late.. At this point everything has been purchased less the tires. We have pulled the motor, swapped the converter, and installed the new short block. Things left to do: rear end/gears, assemble top end, and install D1.

Shooting or 6.7s@102 or so.

On to some pics of previous work... Will try to keep them somewhat in order:

SHORT BLOCK IN THE CAR

**** is getting nasty...... Looking. LOL

A pic of the new DD I bought a few weeks ago... Mods aren't going to be too serious.. E fans, CAI, tune, exhaust, and some appearance. Maybe a little giggle gas.

Last Camaro/First ls1 car: Bolt on M6... Sold for an Auto.

Lemons' old RPMs on it:

95 Cobra... Simple bolt ons... 9.2s in the 1/8.. Traded for red Z28.

Few races...

Turbo hatch civic @ 15 #s... I was hitting it with a 100 hit.
55

30

Bone stock VS 2000 C5 M6 with catback... Cars ran near identical times at the track.. My car had a slightly better ET with him having a slightly better trap.
