I've not had one problem with either my PT76GTS (in service on a daily driver over a year) or my TC76 Turbonetics that was on the car from 2008 to 2012.
The Journal bearing PT76gts normally runs at 15psi on the street but I've had it to 21psi several times. Once to 24psi before it blew off my charge pipe and sent it spinning onto the street behind me.

I know that doesn't discount those that have had bad experiences. Just a data point...

Been running a PT 76mm billet wheel for nearly a year now and haven't had one single issue with the turbo.
