No doubt lol! ^^^^^^^This dude right there is a freekin genius, learned alot from this guy, big props.

I was planning on yanking the turbo kit out and re-doing a little of it anyways for clearence. But this gave me a chance to gap the rings, throw some studs on with ls9 gaskets and go back at it. I did order a Meth kit which should be here this week. I'll be back in action in no time haha

****UPDATE****

Xtreme Boost 2.0 is finally done!!

Man it runs soooooo much better than before! Hitting on all 8 makes a huge difference!

New improvements : L33 All Aluminum 5.3, Removed Hvac/blower assy, New Intake Gaskets, New 60lb injector, New turbo location, new downpipe fabbed up, partial new drivers side tubular header, All A/N Fuel Fittings with Pro-Stock Hose, New Coolant Overflow, Thicker Front Wheels Adapters, Lowered 3" Front, Removed All 02 Sensors, and I'm sure a few more things I'm missing.

Short idle video. Aluminum motor definetly has more of a hollow sound to it. Sorry about the shaky video, something is up with youtube, video looks fine on my phone. ??

That sounds awesome. Funny how you say it sounds hollower with the aluminum block. Wonder if it actually makes a diff from using an iron block??? Never heard of that before but you never know.

Just curious why you removed all the 02 sensors?
The truck sounds great. Did you end up changing to an ls6 cam? If so I didnt realize it loped that much.

I'm in true OLSD, STFT is off, LTFT is off, DFCO is off. I want full control of my timing and VE table, therefore no need for any 02 sensors. Drives amazing compared to my old motor. But as mentioned, #5 injector has been bad this whole time.

I've made a few WOT low boost pulls. crazy how much more rich it is with the same tune with good injectors. Before at 5psi, I was right at 11.43. Same tune, different motor and new injectors, 10.3! So I have made a few adjustments to correct. So far so good!

Trying something different with my hood.

Well, on XtremeBoost 2.0, I relocated the turbo up higher and at an angle to fit an air filter and also raise the downpipe up a lot to provide extra clearance when lowering the front. Well, long story short my wastegate barely touched the hood but I knew as soon as the engine torqued, it would easily damage the hood or what not. So how did I fix this? Well, I ended up cutting what I like to call heat extractor holes. I evenly matched both holes to look even. Next weekend I am going to use the drivers side hole and fabricate some kinda of ducting to the turbo to cool it off (why not right) and provide some fresh air to the turbo. Or I might just leave it alone.

Idea's, likes and dislikes? All are welcome my friends

Btw, we have this green crap floating around in the air and within seconds, blazer got covered in that junk. Oh and yes I know there is finger prints everywhere and stuff, not that I see the pics.

I think the hood looks pretty good, very subtle, you could run some black mesh under to keep stuff out and make it even less noticeable

Loving the truck, want to see some videos of it getting into boost!

I may have missed it in this thread, what wheel/ tire set up are you running? sits perfect

I love this build man. It looks great. As far as the hood goes the only thing I would do is add another turbo there :-)

sweet truck. Change the fitting on the fuel rail. Those fittings tend to come off and start fires. There is a way better one that screws on and will not come off.

Thanks man! On the earl's factory style locking fuel rail fitting, I have never seen one come off unless someone didn't "click" it in all the way. I have never seen pushlock hose EVER come off. Hell, once it's pushed on I have always had to cut the hose off and use a razor blade just to get the rest of the hose off the fitting. Doubt it would ever come off on its own.

Default Extreme motor

I just bought this motor from a guy in Brainerd Minnesota. I am going to plan on tearing it all down and rebuilding it has a similar setup but on a four wheel drive truck. Do you have any advice or anything that would help me with working on that engine. It will be my first swap.
