Well, long story short, na motor making 450 rwhp + 15psi of boost = boom.
So I pulled the motor, lots of trial and tribulations associated with sourcing all my own parts, but it was part of the journey I guess. I ended up doing the complete assembly of the motor myself with the help of my machinist/engine builder Busey Cotier, who was both motivational and willing to teach me. I did the install myself, which might not sound like much to some, but for me, I'm proud of it. I don't do this for a living, so to be able to do this on my own was quite an accomplishment for me and it feels good.

Thanks.
I haven't dyno'd it yet, but my guess is roughly 650-675hp. Like I said, I made north of 450rwhp with my heads cam setup (Mast heads, decent cam, FAST 90mm etc etc) and am now running ~15lbs of boost. It's enough to hit roughly 90% injector duty cycle at an afr of 11.5.
I plan to get my Aquamist setup installed asap, actually I'm in the process of doing it, so once that's done, I'll toss it on a dyno and see what it does. Anything north of 650 and I'll be happy.

After seeing everything that happened with yours I'm glad I stayed at 8lbs for now. Congrats on getting it back together and not letting it sit. I wish we had some decent weather now to enjoy the prochargers, it doesn't like the humidity at all.

i agree man...if you are really seeing 15 lbs of boost, and with your setup, and the advance in timing you "could" use with the aqaumist, i am going to go ahead and say.....709/636 maybe more with the hat off. i am glad to see you finally putting it on a dyno. will be even more glad to see if go down a track.

Good to see you got it back together. I remember when my motor broke and the car was down for six months, every day sucked without it. If you are seeing 15 lbs I would expect you to be over 700. Mine hit around 715/650 on a base tune that still needs some cleaning up, and I'm only seeing just under 14 psi.
I agree too that for those of us that don't build motors all the time the feeling of doing yourself is a good one.

I lurked for a while, just have had a lot going on lately between work, family, and the like. Just haven't had the free time or to be honest the motivation to mess with the car much since fixing it the last time. Having to tear apart and rebuild the "built" motor I bought from a sponsor which was really a kind of soured me for a bit.
Now enough about me and back to everyone being appropriately enthusiastic about what a great job Alchemist did on fixing his car!!
