Hell ya! Congrats on the mph, I think you are the only one other than my rx7 to put up a 150+ mph 1/4 pass on a jy 5.3 setup.

Yeah, Im assuming you heard about it from blake and nick on norotors. Getting a ride in nicks car last year and him constantly telling me how much better ls engines are than sbc's convinced me to switch

I love it, I am exactly on your train of thought. For the cost of a set of head gaskets you can just swap the whole motor

Nice job, Chris. Still trying to justify keeping my car and going turbo versus selling the damn thing. Maybe I'm just bi-polar?

Scott, Why would you swap combos when you have all that money in your current setup that is capable of being much faster than you have gone so far. It takes time, dedication, trial and error and a good understanding of what your car needs to run a good number. I thought you were happy with the way your car performed, and that you wanted more of a street car than a race car.

If you want that 9 sec pass on your car bad enough you need to fix the 60ft. It doesnt need more power, the mph is already there. Take it to the track a few times and put in some seat time and figure out how to get it too hook on the spray. The car was built for n2o so dont worry about n/a times, imo.

In the back of your mind you know what you need to do. Its what joe is saying and prob your inner gear head has been telling you for a long time. But i would no way in hell swap your combo to a turbo because EVERYTHING will need to be changed and you will need to start all over and the expense will be costly.

Congrats man. That is moving. I can't wait to see what it will do with consistant boost. Those bw366 just start to come online at 19 psi. The cars I have tuned with the bw300 series all started to really wake up over 20 psi. I guess you start hitting where the compressor is most efficient.

What boost are you trying to set it at?

Congrats Chris on your 1st 8 second pass!!! I talked to Adam Hodson at Muncie just over 3 weeks ago and said you were going to try and make Joliet. He said you had to finish some wiring and didn't know if you would make it. I'm glad you got it done and were able to make some good passes. The LSX Shootout should be interesting this year! I hope to see you on Saturday at Bodigan's party if you haven't left yet. I should be up there maybe around 3.
