You better slow down on spending money on your car... I'm going to need to borrow some money for a 9 inch!

I got scolded last week about all the parts laying around. Hoping to see some big stuff show up soon! I was told the 68 Camaro was coming out of storage pretty quickly. I don't know how he is going to fit that car around all my parts! I might have to keep it in my garage!

I don't see that happening with his little palace out there.

I went ahead and took it for a drive today! Didn't want to wait any longer. Decided to put the 9lb spring in the wastegate expecting that it would hit about 8 since the last setup ran about a pound less of boost than what was in the gate... I don't know how much it hit on that spring but the gauge blipped 15 for sure. After discovering that I put the 6lb spring in (less pressure than last year) and the eboost2 said that it peaked at 12.2 psi. The boost controller is basically there as a gauge right now (not putting pressure to the gate) I even turned it off to make sure I would get the same/similar result.

One thing I am wondering about is, on my manual boost controller it had the 3 ports. No directions came with it so I hooked it up the way the arrows were on the MBC and plugged the third hole that is in the front. For the eboost2 I followed the directions and hooked up the top and bottom to ports 1&2 and then vented port 3 (rather than plug it). I tested it out this way with the 6lb spring and it looked like it might have hit around 14. This was before I was using the eboost to keep track. Then I put a cap on the "vented" port and that's when it would only hit 12.2psi.

Does that make sense that it would work that way or is it just in my mind? Maybe I need to retest the vented scenario with the eboost on to see if I'm just seeing things...

The other problem I have noticed is that now the fans will stay on after key off. If I key it back on again and shut it off they stay off. That was when I left... My uncle came home (where the car is at) and called me to ask why my fans were on. So now I need to figure that out. The only thing different in that area from last year is that I put the stock relays back in because I was getting cooling fan codes. So far this year no codes, but this problem is there now.

Other than that it's a burnout machine on these tires. The Mickey's will be here Wednesday.

Bumper is now fixed from the deer hit and cut up to get some more air to the intercooler

Also put on a sticker that I made up

Got the boost controller issue figured out. I guess this is what I deserve for buying used parts. Swapped out the solenoid with one from Only ERO's and got it working.

It felt like it had half the power when it was running on 6psi vs 12psi! lol
Also got my tires. I didn't even have a chance to try them out, but I do know they're worthless on wet wood. Wouldn't even go over a board on the trailer. I'm guessing dry pavement will work better. haha

PS: this weather sucks!!!!!!!!!

Snow in April, depressing. We didn't get any snow here, but all the rain found its way into my basement .

Car looks good though!

Yeah... It's more like slush. Really sucks. It's looking like i should have picked a little bit later date to run it up to the tuner. Who knows how long it'll be before the roads clear up and he's able to actually start tuning on it.

Nice numbers for low boost. Now crank that thing up to 20lbs and let it eat!

17-18* timing, 11.8:1 afr, boost tapered on that run to around 12.5 iirc. Would have made closer to 770 if it was truly 15 psi throughout the run.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty happy with it. Wasn't sure what to expect it to make for power, but I'm definitely not disappointed!
