Any idea on power goals? What boost you are shooting for? I am building something similar to run on e85 as well. Easy to get where I am drive past it every day. What radiator are you going to use?

No power goals, just want to put it in the single digits, which wont be a problem, car will be under 3000 lbs and probably be 700rwhp... easy day. Radiator is out of my roomate's old car, no PN but the car ran a little warm (210-220) but it was really close to his turbo on his setup, I have quite a bit more room in bewteen.

We have 3 car builds going on right now, shop's a little crowded but hopefully we'll get them done soon! Not much progress today on mine, just painted a few things and mostly helped out my 2 buddies.

did some cutting on the car tonight. Tidied up the cowl that was rough cut by the previous owner, just have to weld in the patch panels there, cut off the core support and the battery tray. Going to knock out the other side tomorrow morning. I'll take some pics of everything once its done, but heres a crappy cellphone picture for now

couple more misc pics. Got the front end of the car to do some more trimming. Pulled the factory steering column out, burkhart chassis one with quick release hub will be going in. Also pulled the intercooler out of the box, fits perfectly between the rails for the front bumper support.

I got it from Schwanke engines. Pretty nice setup. super clean. Only a few wires to hookup and you can run an LS in any car with it. Has a few fuses and a fuel pump relay.

Small update. Ordered a manual brake kit from burkhart chassis, great guys to deal with over there. Box of parts came in from TSP so I can finish assembling the engine. Kmember will be going in this evening. After it gets stripped down and repainted. More pictures to come this evening when things are getting assembled.

Got a wild hair up my *** tonight, so I decided to ditch the stock heads and put on my TFS 215's. Also found out that the Jesel's dont fit stock valve covers.. go figure. So now aside from needing pushrods, i have to decide to either fork over the cash for new valve covers, or scrap the jesels and buy a trunion upgrade for the stock rockers.. oh the decisions... anyways some pictures of today's progress.

Nice build man.
They will if you have the proper shim kit.

Thumbs up to thunder racing. Got their trunion/pushrods/ rocker shim package. That does it for the motor. Chassis work is next up!

Good luck with Thunder Racing.. seem to be sucking lately.. Hopefully by your posting you mean that you have received the kit already and not just placed the order.

welded in the cowl patch panels tonight.. I'm not a great welder to begin with so trying to weld sheet metal with a flux core MIG was pretty freakin hard. I really need to invest in a TIG and some welding classes, at least at a minimum convert my MIG to gas/solid core. A little bit of body filler and it'll look good though

Nice build. Glad to see you doing a true street car. That's what I run so maybe I will see you at the track. BTW go ahead and convert to gas on your MIG center flux core wire sucks ***. You'd be suprised how much nicer the welded will be.

Parts Fairy came today. Kurt Urban water vapor system. I'm thinking about ditching the flex lines and running hard lines for a cleaner install, opinions?
