TT Factory Five GTM Project Runs
Far from fully finished, but a big milestone is met.
Car ran and drove NA, and now just finished the TT kit build.
Hopefully the car will be finished by the first quarter of 2013, so it can make it to TX2k13
What we started with:
402 LS2
Trick Flow 215s
Twin TC67s
Tial 44mm gates
Tial 50mm BOV
Magnafuel 4303
96 lb injectors
Ricardo Transaxle
Stillen Clutch
should move out at 2600 lbs and 1200 rwhp is the goal

David Borden did a really nice GTM build a few years back. He documented it over on cornercarvers. I believe he sold it a couple years ago. It wasn't near the craziness you're doing motorwise.
It's amazing how small those cars are, they make a corvette look massive and tall.
Looking forward to more on the build, they're beautiful cars.

What's the story on the intercooler?
Did yall just cut the end tanks off and weld them together for a single outlet, or is there something more going on inside?
I'd also really like to see more pictures of the exhaust system, mostly the manifolds ect. I really like how you guys laid this system out!

street car!
LOL! those plates are from my TA, I needed something to make sure the exhaust was centered.
it is a Ricardo Transaxle, from a Ford GT.
I forgot to discuss the intercooler on the original post. It is two PTE-1000 cores welded together into a single outlet, and a custom water tank is at the front of the car, holds about 5 gallons.
The headers were SW headers we just put vbands on:
after we get some tuning done on it, and clean up some other odds and ends, we will dyno tune it, then take everything part and send it to coating, everything will be coated black, should look cool.

pretty much any tire you want! the wheel wells are wide open, you make the tubs as needed.
it would be hilarious to see one sitting on a drag pack, 31" tall tires in the back 25 in the front LMAO

At that weight, those TC67's should move out good

used Ricardo transaxles are floating around on eBay from time to time for $6500 to 8500 or so. They are super strong.
My buddy is building an SL-C with a 3 rotor turbo setup (700-800rwhp goal) and went with a G50/52 and has about $14K into that transaxle. It is about 60lbs lighter than the Ricardo, but nowhere near as strong.
This car should move it! Can't wait to see what it can do.
