Compressor cover diameter is around 10.5" and the same goes for the turbine housing with the T6 flange. It's also about 10.5" from the down pipe flange to the air filter inlet.
there is a S500-91 and a s400-hp91...where do you see that the hp91 is the S91 that is being brought up?

I ask because Im trying to find out what frame its based off of for some clearance issues that Im trying to fix.
I have an s400-hp88 and its refered to as an s88, so i would assume he's talking about the s400-hp91 or s91....

I was basing my size reference to the S500-91 with the 111mm turbine and 1.0 AR which is what I thought the OP said he was using, but looking back I cannot find the reference I thought he made to the 1.0 AR he had must've made that one up in my head.

OP are you using a 96mm turbine 1.32 ar hotside unit or a different AR(1.0, 1.15, 1.45 etc.) 111mm turbine unit?

Are you thinking that the HP91 and S91 share the same turbine cover even though the exhaust side is different? I don't think that's the case(no pun intended) though?

Im between the s400-91hp and the gt91 for my build plans. Both seem to be pretty good prices. Think one is 1599 and other 1699 on fi website. Both ive seen used on builds yield good results so guess probably couldnt go wrong either way.

Definitely go with the Borg unit. It has a higher flowing turbine and will result in less back pressure.

That's what i hear everyone saying. Was measuring today and if i get a smaller condenser like a 12x24 to be exact it will fit right under hood latch and then can move radiator that much more forward. May have to trim fan shroud a bit but believe i can get 11" of clearance from back of radiator to front of ps pulley. I wanna mount my turbo there in front of power steering pump. Do abs delete.

Im going to be trying a very similar setup. I already have my radiator forward to fit a comp ct5 turbo. But id love to get a big bw in. there. I was thinking of getting rid of the hood latch for some pins and a smaller condensor.

Look to Killer-Ls1 I think his screen name is, for reviews on the GT91 turbo.

Me personally I would definitely go with the S400-HP91. I would not skimp on price on the most important piece of a turbo system.
