I didn't think about it not having a controller until the brakes did what they did. It has the 7 pin connector, but just didn't have a controller. I installed it today and put new rear brakes on it. So hopefully tomorrow I won't have any trouble and I can get in a few runs before the seasons over.
The controller install is easy, they ran all the wires and all you have to do is hook up two wires in the engine bay and wire up the controller to the already routed wires.

I won't be able to build the engine and tranny before summer because I'll be moving and won't have that much money to spend. I'm buying another 5.3 for $100 and going to throw a Borg in the same spot the x275 sits. Either 475 or 480 with race cover don't know yet haha.

Hey nice setup I have been through your build thread a couple times. My rear mount wasn't making any power at all I had a boost leak in the intake for a very long time and when I finally fixed it it was just blowing right through the converter and wasn't pulling that hard but I was making like 15-18 lbs boost. I should have had a flex pipe between turbo and headers. I had shorty headers with 3 bolt flanges an the bolts always came loose and fell apart. I should have just done v bands on them. If I would have got a better converter, v banded headers, flex pipe, and ran ls6 manifold I think it would have been bad ***. Then I came upon a complete 6.0 for $400. I blew head gasket on the 5.3 so it was ripped apart anyway

Actually I moved to Southeast Missouri in the Boothill. I now have my own timing business. So my wife and I travel all over the country "Chip" timing triathlons, Road Races, Cycling races, In-line Skating Races, etc.... Since our work is mainly on the weekends I rarely get to race my car but at least I get to do what I love. We timed 31 races last year in Florida, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee, etc....

Not much to do in Raleigh, but there are plenty of racetracks in NC. I moved here from South Florida, and trust me I aint going back. I live just outside of Raleigh and love it here. Beautiful place in my opinion.

I have not. I coach a kid who ran in the Nike Cross Country Invite a couple times. I have gone up there to watch him race in Racine. If you know of any triathlons in the area, feel free to throw out my information and website address. Shoot, I will bring the chevelle if it is a big enough race. We'll come down a day early and go do some drive by burnouts. lol
