ive touched exhaust pipe with wrap on it while its running. idk boiling temp of brake fluid but im sure its higher than 212 degrees. if it does end up getting too hot ill just put more wrap on it so heat wont escape. i talked to my local tech guy and he said he doesnt care about the floor plates as long as i attach the main hoop to the frame im ok so i need to cut out the body mounts and plate them in with some 1/4". if it dont pass tech then i guess im only going to the track once haha. street driving is more important to me anyway haha. my belts are on the rear of the cab right now but if i gotta switch them i dont care. ill just weld a couple bolts to the cage

ill hopefully have it started by saturday i finally have everything i need to start it but brake lines arent hooked up yet so i need to figure out the fittings for them. i have been soooo busy its been impossible to work on this and i dont feel like going in the garage when its 15 degrees out during the week and i dont have enought time to start a fire. if the weather were warm it would be driving by now lol but im not in too much of a hurry with this crappy weather.

I have been super busy i just bought a cbr600 and been working on that and just finishing up building my friends cbr also and now my bike turns up as salvaged so now im even deeper on things i gotta do. I put the s10 on hold until i get my bike on the streets. Plus we just got a new grinder so i can finish stuff on my truck. I will get it running though i cant quit on it just been busy with two other projects simotaneously lol.

Not yet been busy with trying to get this bike registered and work lately. Next weekend ill actually have some free time while my girlfriend is at work so ill probably have it running by then. My motivation has died down alot on the truck and free time also. I havent been the car scene for a while so that has tons to do with it. Once i start working on it again im sure ill get motivated

Thats a good question. I made my stock hood into a cowl so i dont know for sure. I am using current performance motor mounts. I know that the alternator on truck bracket barely fit even with trimming with hood. Our s10 bays are plenty wide but their just so damn short that the hood comes down too low near the nose and the pro flo is so long and tall. Ill get more pics and measurements for you this weekend cause ill be for sure starting it and possibly a drive.

Thats why i was rear mounted too with my 53 and 76mm lol. But of course i had to complicate things and go completely out of hand. I hurt my back last week so i couldnt do much besides get the harness in. I just got some more resistors for my injectors so i actually have it all to be started now
