hopefully by mid march. i want to redo all the electrical for last because right now its a ******* rats nest. i still need seats, gauges, 2 step, and a few other little things. wheels will be the last thing ill get because they will be about a grand. next weekend the intercooler pipe will be totally finished and ill hopefully finish polishing my pro flo intake once it comes next week. most of the big stuff is done now its just tons of little things here and there.

Thanks guys! I plan to leave the intercooler how it is. Ground clearance is tight and i don't want to have anything else hanging down lower. Plus, i had a horizontal intercooler on my last build and my iats were cooler than my front mount because the radiator didn't heat it up

Thanks sarg im trying to do things the right way this time because i kinda threw things together with the 5.3 lol. I did have the intercooler angled at first like you said but that made it about 1.5" closer to the ground. I know that may not seem like much but I'm working with very little room everywhere on this truck haha

My IAT's were 241 today when I went 6.26 on 12lbs of boost. But you don't know how much the E85 cools it down. I was a little worried about the higher IAT but car ran fine. I also had some KR at 4 and below. Not sure what is acceptable. Plugs looked great though.

Yeah i think the e85 kinda acts like a carb once the fuel his the air it instantly cools it down. Kinda like water in Meth injection. Only true way would to measure the iat is at the intake port of the cylinder head.
I don't know much about the kr either. I never had more then 2 in my truck so i never cared. To busy monitoring the 100 other things that are happening all at once lol. Maybe I'll learn more about it one day

Why don't you just throw a eBay front mount on it to be safe?

Actually the one that he just posted would fit easily in front of my radiator behind my grill. It would allow cool air to hit it directly and I wouldn't have to do much to change my cold side. Could probably re use most of it. We have a similiar set up.
Do you have a part number for the IC you are mounting under neath like that? I may put one on if I can't get the IAT's down. It will only get worse in the summer. Like was mentioned to be safe. If it slowed the car down I could always pull it off.
