ill have one up later this week. i havent been doing much because im saving up the $1750 its going to take to finish the tranny ($1000 for full manual valve body and trans brake and $750 for converter). i just finished porting my 317's though so later on this week once all my parts come in for finishing the motor ill have an update. right now is the slow period but once the tranny is finished it should go by really quick. if i get the extra set of ported 862's/706's sold ill have it running agian in a few months!!

heres the heads im selling if anyone is interested. $350 for each set. both ported

I've been trying to fit a lq4 with twin 6262's. I'd like to see how you end up fitting everything. Any idea when you will start mocking everything up? I've been running into alot of clearance issues.

Are you using truck manifolds? With flipped truck manifolds Its impossible to fit on the driver side unless you mess with the steering shaft by putting in u joints to move it out of the way. I'm building custom log manifolds so i won't have any trouble placing the turbos. Im saving up $1750 to build the tranny right now so it won't be a few months until i get everything put back in the truck until i start making the turbo manifolds. I'm also thinking about just putting the engine in Now and then putting the tranny in seperate and then that way i can build all the turbo stuff now. If you want me to build you some manifolds when i finish mine i will lol.

No I'm building my own. But im still having trouble fitting 2 good sized turbos,3" exhaust,3" from turbos to intercooler,4" from intercooler to tb and wastegates along with a ls engine with proflo intake and accesorys lol. I thought it would be real easy but you run out of room quick.

We sure don't have much room in our engine bays for a twin setup on a LS, that's why I am doing a twin rear mount. Should start taking the truck apart this sunday.

you should just go with a couple of HX35's off of the Dodge Cummins and weld the gates shut and go with a couple of 44mm waistgates.

Why such big intercooler piping? I'm doing 2.5" off each turbo and 3" from intercooler to throttle body. My intercooler is going to be placed between radiator and the accessories because i have pusher fans up front. That way three intercooler piping won't be a problem. The 3" exhaust shouldn't have any trouble fitting where normal headers would go. If exhaust is a real problem, dump them in front of each front tire. If you build your own headers I'm positive you could get it all to fit. Did you keep your wheel Wells?

well i got more parts in yesterday...

couldnt wait to borrow my old valve spring compressor tool from dave so i made my own piece of **** out of some 1/4" plate. brian tooley dual valve springs or something only $219 shipped from tick performance. he thinks patriot is going out of business so he told me to buy these. seem pretty nice.

got a little carried away with the acetylene so its missing half a leg lol

ported 317's torqued down with my $69 kmj head studs

best looking $100 valve covers i ever seen!!! only put them on for mock up

almost fully assembled. just need some 7.300" pushrods from texas speed

MAP mounted

coolant crossover

PITA 8.5mm msd plug wires. says their meant for relocating coils but come pre assembled and i dont think theyll be long enough!!! pisses me off

this is where the coils will be mounted. right in the rain tray
