i'm thinking 15-18 will get it done if i can get into the low 9.5x's with everything working right. Gonna go little by little but it will have to wait til next year. first up is the gear swap to 3.25's and then i'll look at havin it tuned. i wanna see what i can get out of each pound of boost until i reach 8.99 or quicker

How are the pumps working for you I remember we were talking about the bucket not being cut open. I haven't started mine up yet just wanted to see how yours is doing?? One other question is I think we have the same kit and how do you adjust the psi on the hobbs switch for your second pump?

Well first off, i ended up pulling the bucket and making a provision for the socks to stick out because it was buggin' me lol but when we got the car started, it would die right away (it's in this thread somewhere) but the short of it is the computer wasn't fully unlocked so while waiting for a new pcm to arrive, i scored a great deal on some new 160# injectors and ended up getting a metal tank, having it sumped and switching to a magnafuel 750 pro-tuner pump and i'm now running E85 instead. I sold off the twin pump setup and 80# injectors in the mean time.

The hobbs had no adjustment though, it's a preset activation at 2psi on the one i had.

Thank you very much! I look forward to seeing what it's really capable of soon.

it's loud enough when you're standing outside the car, especially at the rear, but inside the car you still hear mainly exhaust and nothing but exhaust and turbo at wot.

at the moment it's just a 90* pointing straight down. That's something i will need to address by spring probably. I won't run it out the fender with as much as i like to get in it and cruise, especially with my sons. i've only had a chance to be in a car with a setup like that once and i didn't enjoy the fumes much at all. lol Does look cool though!

Well i got my first 3 passes in with the car on the drive home today. Didn't get an 8 sec pass but that wasn't a very realistic goal i suppose with having too much gear.
Lots of new personal bests though....

9psi ramped to 17psi in 2 seconds
1.29 sixty foot!!
5.83 @ 120.56 in the 1/8!
9.16 @ 141.44 out of gear and had to lift. Gear swap next weekend!
144.19 mph! Best mph
All in all a great success imo and drove it home 2+ HOURS!!
Still needs a tune. AFR was at 12.3 @ 17psi/WOT and no clue where the timing is at but probably not off by much.

Getting a gear swap next saturday from the 3.70 to 3.25. Vids to come tomorrow.

just a very safe tune tossed in by a local chassis guy who dabbles with hp tuners.
