Dave, I have been looking on summit at the hardware it would take for me to delete my ABS. You can get a prop valve and a couple tee's for alot less than one of the kits they sell. I think I figured it up and it would cost like 70 bucks if you have a flare tool already.

Either way your cars sick, and its very clean. Looking forward to seeing those PB's fall

LMK how that works out for you. i don't have a flare tool but can get one of course. But i have a local guy that can do it all for $200 and not have to deal with the bs of it all lol

And thanks again for the compliments guys! i can't wait to get it to how i've picture it in my head almost from day 1. Saturday will probably be my only chance to go for an 8 sec pass til spring so i'm gonna give it all it's got at the current 17psi. i don't see myself upping the boost level any further til it's tuned but we can ramp the boost in quicker, leave on more and raise the 2 step still if it's needed. That and i can now make a full pass with the new gear set

Clean car man, whats the specs on the intercooler i see the cold pipes come out and in on the same side, im building my car now with the turbo facing the same way and the down pipe going out the front bumbper on the driver side really killed alot of the room for the cold side to come up to the t/b, does you intercooler have in/out on the same side?

well the 30mph head winds didn't help lol 9.06 was my best pass but my sixty foot was down. best was a 1.34 but car moved out of the groove and spun and had to abort. best mph was 152 on 18.5psi. Found out i'm WAY the **** off on the shifting! Datalog showed me shifting between 6100 & at most, 6600 rpm. i also hurt the trans and am done for the year. Reverse is making an ugly noise!

Top 3 things on my list is #1 a TUNE!!! and then i need a good aftermarket shifter and a shift light. That's all it's gonna take to run an 8 on the current setup, along with getting the 60' to stay in the low 1.3x's or better. I don't think they did any prep after they opened yesterday.

Anyway, too much driver error ruined a couple 1.37 opportunities. I will get there with more seat time and getting the top 3 things done by the next outing. Until then, i got some experience and was told i did pretty well for jumping from a 10.37 car to a 9.0 car. Definitely feels like a completely different Animal vs my n/a times!

That was me in the pewter trans am. I believe it,s a head gasket, we,re going to tear it down this week. Regardless I would like to check into a bigger motor for next year. You was asking about the abs delete and I was looking around the garage yesterday and I got the kit from SJM, he,s a sponsor on this site. I did it myself and after seeing your car, i,m sure it would be a piece of cake. I got the carbon fiber cover from quartermax/ rj racecars. Definately glad it,s the end of the year. You guys have a great one.

Well i'm happy to say there doesn't seem to be any issue at all with the trans itself!!

I finally got some time to get under the car for a look around and went ahead and checked to see if the converter bolts had come loose and wouldn't you know it, i didn't put lock-tite on them and they backed out 1/2-3/4 of a turn each! I was actually able to shimmy the converter by hand from that

So i tightened them all up and took it out for a test drive and it's whisper quiet again! This weekend i'll be sure to remove & re-install the bolts with said lock-tite and be thankful i don't have to pull the trans!
