Default Where does your turbo drain to? Pan or Front Cover? Scavenge?

I think my balancer will interfere with putting the turbo drain on the front cover like I have seen alot of guys do. Is it better to just scavenge pump it to the pan than gravity feeding it to the valve cover oil fill? Pictures anyone?

I had mine into the front cover, and since I had a ASP balancer I had plenty of room....

Even with stock balancer's there's just enough room to run the drain into the front cover IIRC...

mine go to the side of the pan. the only problem was that the side that the pick up tube was on, I had to modify the pick up tube to clear the drain.

I welded two -10 90 degree elbows to my timing cover for the oil return. Even with the stock crank pulley there still enough room. I've since replaced it with a ASP 25% UD pulley though.

Has anyone used a "fuel cell" bulkhead fitting for trainback to the pan?

I used a 12an to 3/4 npt. I would think the fuel cell bulkhead fitting wouldnt seal to the aluminum pan because its designed to seal on a plastic cell. I did the npt fitting and no leaks.

Or an aluminum cell. It has teflon seals.

I wouldnt trust it on a cast aluminum pan. I would either weld it or use a npt fitting.

Drill and tap the adapter above the oil filter with a 4an fitting, thats what I did.
